Noticed some leaves on the bottom are showing a P deficiency just after taking photos. And the plants looks kinda droopy and weak. I usually mix my nutes and ph test it with the dropper kit after mixing.
I always mix enough nutes to do 4 days feed and never test ph after initial mixing and after noticing these leaves leave went into a slight panic and started googling and found the ph to be really low, 3.5-4...yikes.
I wish I had been more diligent with testing and wonder if I having to acidic feedings the entire time and just now have really noticed? This would explain the deep green leaves from what I have read and have a couple questions.
-Should I do a couple gallon flush tomorrow then let it dry out for a day then resume feeding as normal?
-Could molasses making the solution slightly darker be giving me inaccurate ph readings using the dropper kit?
-Could the sand I added to kill off the gnats have any impact on the medium?
I'm going to start mixing the nutes and letting them sit for an hour then ph test them again before feeding.
Kinda frustrating to nurse something this long and do something like this to it, I hope I can salvage it and return it to health. Pretty nervous after seeing this shit, cheers.
