80% humidity while weed is drying??

Hello people, I cut down my plants yesterday and hung it all on strings most plants I cut each branch but a couple I hung by main stems, but the humidity seems to be staying at around 80% and the humidity meter is in the corner of the tent so it could be higher around all of the buds, I have a 10" oscilating fan in there to circulate the air around and I have a 4" fan/filter running aswell do you think this will cause bud rot? I was thinking of getting a dehumidifier today but If I can avoid it I will for now untill I next get paid.
Any inputs will be appreciated. Thankyou

You need to have the fan facing away from the bud, have it pointing toward a vent or door to blow the humidity out. Facing the bud, even on low, it may quick dry some of the outer buds and end up harsh af.

Can't you put an extractor on low, or is your outside humidity that high?. Turn the tower fan around at-least, and check the humidity after that, it may bring it down enough, as a quick fix for now.

Ok I will make these changes when I get home from work, thanks for this.

That's fine, just have the fan on low first, you don't want to strip the space of too much humidity. Open the little tent vent that is under the buds on the back wall. That and the back facing tower fan will create a more natural air flow.

A lot of times the humidity here is 70% in the house I hang the plants for a couple of weeks after stripping most of the big leaves. If they still need drying I put them in a small room with the dehumidifier for a couple of days.

70% is what I dry and store at. Any less and it turns to powder too easy in the day bag. No mold in five years. Any higher and it does not burn well. I jar and freeze the processed buds.

I bought the yellow one last year or so when my old one packed in. I took it back the next day as it was absolute garbage, nowhere near the stated extraction rate. The cheaper ones I don't know, different companies so maybe it will fit your purpose. I'd try the tower fan tactic first, might save you the money, unless you want a de-huey for long term use?, go for it.

I bought a used one off eBay. They are plentiful after a hurricane here in the US. But I found under 70F they don't work well, or at least the one I have does not.

Do you cure before freezing?

Do you mean the extraction or oscilating or both, sorry to be a bit dumb. Cheers
