Back in the day, my first grow was an Indica called "Kimo Sno-Bud" from the defunct Medical Marijuana Seeds bank. I performed an exhaustive hydrocarbon extraction on a weighed random sample of my bud. Then I heat-treated the extract and refined the THC out of it using quanititative procedure. So by gravimetric analysis (direct and definitive ... no proportion factors as with the usual GC or HPLC methods) the bud was 11% THC and the crude extract, 89%. So to me those numbers are admirable but not miraculous.

Wish i still had access to a suitably-equipped lab.
