Usually I image breeder times are; in Optimal conditions from their own environments, they know the strain well and tailor the nutrient and dry down periods near optimally tailored for a single pheno they enjoyed out of their packs. You of course would have to hunt through hundreds of seeds to find a near identical pheno to the one they describe and you love the effects of.

I've had phenos out of the same pack be done two weeks ahead of a breeders estimate, and another pheno finish five weeks past it. The one the took longer was just all around better.

High thoughts below

I wonder what could be found in a multi acre outdoor hunt in light depo green houses sourcing thousands of a single strain.

Are cup winning phenos more about the luck of the hunt, or the space/resources available.

Getting tired of polyhydrids that just shuffle the same traits, rather than breeding a thoroughbred.

I wonder how many 1 gallons I could fit in a 10 x 3.5 area?

I say add at least 2 weeks. I don't like to go by breeder times, but when people really want to set a date, I do tell them to plan for around 2 weeks more than the breeder time, just to make it simpler. But I prefer just to look at the buds, and try to listen to them. Most strains are better if you let them fully mature.
