Since I fully covered my growbox, temps in there have been rising and rising. Now its at a steady 88 degrees. Anyone know how I can lower the temps? I have a duct connecting outside... but Im thinking the fan isn't sucking enough cold air in. Should I make a hole near the bottom of my growbox? Since all the hot air is near at the bottom and the cold air is at top?
90 Degree growbox.

You should have intake low, and out take high.
The reason for this is that hot air rises, and when it gets to a higher point in your grow area it can get removed via the out take fans.
if your intake is high, and out take low, swap it around, it may help.
Yeah.. I have a centrifugal fan but because its too damn loud, I can't use it. I'm still figuring out a way to reduce the sound because I've spent most of my money on all my other things I don't have money for a silencer. Maybe a speed reducer on the centrifugal would make it sound like its just starting up..

u need to put that fan up high use the fan to suck the air out...u need times the lxwxh then make sure the fan sucks out that amout in at lest 1to 5 min...make a small hole in the bottom so cool air in..good luck

an intake fan will ehlp lower the temp also. Also try and use fresh air. These things can keep the temp down adn wowo the platns love that. My fist experimental crop was highly retarded by high temps. The buds look like used cutips.It was crazy, so now under 85 for me.
