I have fixed the air;) I added 6 air cooled hoods and a new 700cfm fan to cool them down. Now I can adjust the temperature from 65 - 85 24\hrs a day;) sw33t!

tnx for the help!
Iwas wondering when it would get to this point. Nice The way it should be.

man you need to get the air cooled reflectors i know everybody has been hammering you about it but its just the truth 6 600's produce allot of heat hell my 6 400's produce allot if i didnt have air cooled reflectors i would be fuct even with air moving through the reflectors my air temp rises 5 F in the room and my room is a 12x16' with 400's lol here is a pic of my setup you should definitely look into getting some better reflectors. in my opinion you should have just got 400's in the size of room you are working with.
awesome room drgreentm! i'm building something similar with 4 400's all on their own light mover track, and cooltubes instead

Your not gonna like this answer, but obviously you need ducted hoods for that set up with 6x600 in one room. I'd go with two chains of exhaust for each fan at 900 or so CFM. Shit man I'm running 2200 in a smaller space, with far less overall exhaust than you, but with three cool tubes (2x600, 1X1k). Sure I'm struggling with temps during this hot ass summer, but still never over 31 degrees. All your theorizing does not take into account the actual air flow of the room dude!! Forget what the fan "can" do. Your room is not some featureless wind tunnel, the air flow will not be "optimal" or completely controlled. Venting the actually lights however is a dramatic improvement. When you vent your lights you are 100% oppositely moving the hottest air out of that room in the faster way possible, despite any other factors (room shape, angles, air flow, obstructions, etc). That's my opinion.I'd go ahead spend the 1500 bucks to get six nice hoods. Those ones yo uhave can be used for vegging (maybe not all six, lol)
