Greetings,

Wonder if anyone knew how many watts of incandescent light equivalance would my UFO have? It is HTG's product. Thanks!:leaf::idea:

incandescent lights are shit for growing, there spectrum isnt suited for plant growth. The 90w UFO will do like 100x better than incandescent lighting.

I understand that and so I bought the LED. I wanted to know it's equivilant to incandescent b/c I think I have been using too much light on my 1st grow. I have the ufo which has been about 10-14" above the girls, and 4 35w 6400k cfls (equivilant too 100w incandescent) so that is 400w alone. They have been placed too give surrounding light to the seedlings. The girls are very short and yellowish. They are 13 days old today.Picture 019.jpgPicture 018.jpg

Have you given them nutes? Also forget about equivilant to incandescent its irrelevant to growing its pointless even talking about it

It is all on my journal page. I gave them a very small amount of thrive alive when I first planted in my 4:1 FF Happy Frog/perlite mix. After many hours of researching this and other forums I believe the issues were too much lighting and a calcium deficiency. Today I watered with a solution of 1/4 tsp of technaflora magi-cal to a quart of water and gave them just enough to soak the soil and get a small bit of run off. I also turned off all the lights accept 1 of the cfls. I am about 7 days from transplanting to 3 gal grow bags
