Dr. Quinn medicine woman is forming buds, forming more than the apollos, and is ahead of them in time to form buds (closer to what i'm used to). I expect her to look like the apollos do now in about a week or so, especially since she got 50-50 veg/flower nutes today (she'll get 25% veg 75% flower next 2-3 weeks). I'll be posting lots of pics of her when the buds come in.

I've decided OG Kush has mag deficiency as do several others to a lesser extent (mainly the indica dominants, not so much the sativas). Treated it and several with cal-mag in their water. Despite her mag deficiency OG Kush is developing some frosty looking little nugs -- she is not going to yield much due to her size and health issues, but it definitely looks like what she does produce is going to be some primo shit. Hope OGK #2 which is soooo much healthier produces some nice buds -- it is definitely going to produce a lot more.

I culled the two sickly Romulans - now have one that looks fantastic and is the most sativa plant in my cab.

Already female:
3 apollo clones, 1 romulan clone, and 1 sour kush - Sour kush I am thinking of putting in the 4 gallon airpot and topping/training/vegging it for the next month and a half into a MONSTER that could deliver some monster buds. She'll be nearly 3 months old by then.

I got a response from the guy at gotham about the 2012 240w blackstars -- here is what he said. Assuming I am at the low end of the wattage range, those LEDs should be putting out at least 540w of light usable to the plants minimum. So yields SHOULD be close to what a 600w would produce for 2 plants at the least.

The actual draw on a 240w UV is anywhere between 135w and 145w depending on the line. The breakdown of LEDs is as follows: 1 - 380nm, 8- 460, 68 - 630 and 660 (each diode is dual band), 1-730, 2 -12000k. The main modification in 2012 is the mix of viewing angles - it is now a combination of 60, 90 and 120 degrees. Also, the LED pattern has been modified a little to achieve better light uniformity and distribution.

I wonder if some of the penetration issues would be resolved in the same ways with CFLs -- hang LEDs around the plants as well -- of course how much would it cost to hang that many panels? Still less than buying the same quantity in weed at street prices At street prices my LEDs pay themselves back within a couple of months of not having to buy it from a dealer. No cheap dispensaries in texas.

We pay twice the going rate of dispensary states, mostly for mid-grade bud. I am running out of my bulk purchase from cali and bought a quarter from my old dealer... stuff gave me really nice buzz first time, a bit of a nice buzz the 2nd, and after that it's exactly the same as the bud i've been smoking from cali for 6 months... that bud was great when I first got it and took several months for the tolerance to build up to where it is now. That's why I fucking can't stand it... it'd be different if the bud I got for $120/qtr was top grade -- it is not at all. It always looks good and smells decent, but the quality just is not there for the power of the high... it's probably fine for his lighter weight clients... I got a tolerance

I grew blue mystic a few years back. You won't be disappointed unless you are looking for a super powerful knock your dick in the dirt strain. It's just good solid bud, nice yields, very relaxing buzz with a little body but not couchlocky... or at least that's how mine came out. Not potent enough for what I'm looking for now, although i'm sure if you grew enough seeds out you'd find a keeper... or if you're not a heavy smoker should be great hows your grow going you got pics?

Still waiting on my seeds Can't grow'em yet but I'd just like to have them in hand. Going to mail the rest of my Genius x Deep Chunk and greenhouse seeds to my friend in Cali when they do.

It is going to be hard waiting the next 6-7 weeks for these apollos to finish... especially with this shitty ass weed I got which is going to run out soon. Wish I had a kick ass hookup who got top grade shit at least I'd feel I was getting my money's worth. Looking forward to a limitless supply of the best bud ever -- that's how it was when I grew before and I think I've already progressed past where I left off in grow skills after about 3 or 4 weeks of getting back into the swing of things.

I may actually try to take a break from smoking when I run out so I don't spend a bunch of money on shitty weed -- and get some non-weed related shit done before my harvests start coming in I fear I won't be able to help myself and start taking off popcorn buds which is going to cost me yield. We'll see

yeah your better off not smoking than buying brick weed.....girls look fantastic as of now.....how do the new airpots handle the watering?, I know they just revised them to make it easier in that sense...

Mine leak very little extra water out the pot - how much they do depends on how careful you are it's about the same amount that runs out of pots with holes in the bottom though. I use a spray tho to water in relatively slowly so I don't waste water/nutes - i've also a couple of times put a bunch of water in the top at once and it didn't come out the sides. Every once in a while you will see it but not much. I'm liking them so far sure hope that '50% bigger fruit/flowers' claim is true, kind of doubt it. The strong root system development I think definitely makes some kind of airpot a good choice for people even if it's not these.

Yes I am definitely planning to move sometime in the next year or two it's just a matter of saving up some money for that kind of move and then finding a new job and doing it... and of course having enough in stock to last me until my new grow is complete at the new place Looking at maybe Oregon they have the best laws here IMO on how much you can grow reasonably... CO/CA/WA are options too especially CO (family). Wife would probably be happiest in CA (weather). I've been to vancouver and it's a nice city too not sure how that would work But I get along well with Canadians Love a lot of things about texas but will be happy to leave both the heat and the ignorance behind.

What are the laws in vancouver? Do they apply to foreign citizens living there?? Last I heard growing there was not decriminalized even if possession is. In Oregon I could get a medical card and grow and smoke essentially legally -- (still illegal federally but I won't be selling so chances of any problems with feds almost 0). Not sure when it is going to happen, but at some point some state is going to get it legalized... I hope CO or WA do it this year so I can move next year

what up sensi , ya the laws up here are the same you can apply for your license as well but its not just legal in the province its legal federally too , also i believe the figure is that 1 in 100 houses in BC either are or have been a grow op so blending in is not all that hard possesion charges dont really happen up here unless its large amounts and even then get a good lawyer and youll get a slap on the wrist but if your smart you can avoid it all together.

Progressing slowly but surely... I wish they were bigger but I'm so impatient. I managed to be patient today and watered them with no nutes, but did give them a pre-emptive cal-mag shot, some EJ catalyst and molasses. They're yellowing a bit at the bottom probably because I've been giving them extra flower nutes. I shouldn't have to give'm nutes with super soil so I'm gonna try and have faith They got a good watering but even good waters seem to last them only a couple of days already.

So looks like I may have female issues agin. One of the Genius x Deep Chunks (the mutant) is female -- I am naming her Deepak Chunkra. The sativa pheno genius x deep chunk i am 95% sure is female (looks like it is pushing the hair out but it's not 100% clear). No idea on the other 2, but I don't have room for 2 more females.
