Seems like a bud toker would understand that, just cause you dont have a card, doesn't mean that you don't deserve the right to enjoy a couple bongers. If you truly believe that anyone deserves to go to jail for this MIRACLE plant, then you are ignorant. What happened to all the good heads around MI. all of a sudden you get you're card and it makes you better then the people you counted on before the law.

I don't agree with the OP at all, but the way the law is written, just about everybody growing LEGALLY is illegal at some point..

Any person with a decent light and half assed strain is going to harvest more then 2.5oz off of just one plant. That's what's getting me. Those fucking police are checking people and you can bet their ass if they see a person with more than just a couple plants flowering, they are going to be back and try to catch them again after harvest time.

I'm not sure how people are getting away with overages, taking them to dispensaries etc.. I would really like some clarification as to how to grow more than one plant and come out over and stay legal.

I can tell you for a fact. Police check the car titles of Cars to see if they will have any issues when they seize them everytime they make a drug arrest

Well double fuck you! Im a Vet, 2 tours of Iraq and one Afgan, and i dont need a sniveling chapped babies ass like you telling me im wrong. I dont wanna pay 400 an OZ form a dispensary, no matter how legal it is. That robbery. When they passed MMJ here in Az, they stpped dispesaries. So thet said we could grow it ourselves, but now that hey are about to let dispensaries open, im now not allowed to grow anymore?? Why should i be forced to buy grow lighting system, then when the government FINALLY Decides to get there shit together, im supposed to stop growing and piss on my investment??? FUCK THAT SHIT.

OUr government is in such turmoil i find it highly distasteful that they are wasting my tax dollars on busting weed grows. Bust MEth labs, bust drunk drivers. Go after child rapist and murderers. But our government is so busy trying to catch headlines and pats on the back, they have lost site of teh fact that we are ALL AMERICANS, we are all the same team.... but Idiots like you, keep idiots in power....thanx dick.

So because a few morons are abusing the law, that means we should shut down dispensaries? Your logic is so flawed dude. There are 100,000+ registered patients and you feel as though you have the right to tell those patients whether or not they should have safe access to their meds because your town is filled with morons abusing the law? I have an idea genius.....how about you just let the police do their fucking job and not lump the rest of the medical marijuana community with the scum floating around your town.

BTW, the system is setup with safeguards but ultimately has to rely on the individual responsibility of the citizens for compliance. Do you know how many law breaking assholes have drivers licenses in this state genius? It's such a shame that the system just lets these people get drivers licenses just so they can share the road with the rest of US LAW ABIDING CITIZENS huh? Maybe we should just get rid of drivers licenses all together and go back to horse and buggy since there's so much abuse in the system and the police are obviously ineffective at doing their job. This is America you tool bag and we don't punish the majority of law abiding citizens because a few abuse our laws. Sounds like you'd have fit in just fine with hitler and his boys.

To the people who are doing it for just because they want to, you dont bother me one bit they can not take away what is illegal for you anyway, but however they can change the rules on what is legal. And I dont want them to change nothing. Dont you get it people why would the legalize it now if no one can follow the rules? I dont know I guess sorry for pissing everyone off but thats how I feel. I guess there is always one asshole that has to fuck it up for everyone else. This has gone on for years.

Abudtokr, you threw out numbers like accusing 99%(which is obviously completely made up.) of the medical growers of breaking the rules somehow and say the whole systems a failure. thats just stupid. how can you say that based off 13 medical grows that were busted for breaking the rules?

Not all people have the ability to grow their own so dispensaries / co-ops in some form must exist for safe access. Patients in apts. or rental property generally can NOT grow their own so they are limited to caregivers and clubs. My wife has a great caregiver but he is in between harvests right now and I have to take her to the local club to get her meds. It is overpriced and I'd grow it for her if I could but our current living situation limits us to either a caregiver or a club. If we followed your logic as policy in this state then my wife would have no access as would many other patients who find themselves in a difficult situation obtaining their meds. Things don't always go as planned in grows...plants get diseases, power failures occur....there are a million and 1 reasons why a patient will find themselves in a dispensary / club instead of being able to grow their own. Starting to get the picture that your idea isn't so great? Taking rights away from people just to put you back in your 'comfort zone'. Not cool.

I see that you continue to lump all of the medical marijuana community and RIU community in the 'you people' category but in case you didn't notice, you are on the medical forum. These are legal patients / caregivers or patients trying to obtain legal certification. As for the politics of the situation you obviously have a lot to learn as I feel like I'm having a pissing match with a 14 year old who just got his first computer and window to the outside world. The opposition that was railing against the initiative before it's passage is the same opposition that's railing for 'regulation' after it's passage. The law enforcement community is not too happy being forced to cede such power to such ordinary citizens. Do some reading on forfeiture laws and the money law enforcement makes off of prosecuting simple possession charges. Then you will see why the opposition to the mmma is screaming so loudly against individual citizens having more rights granted to them....not rocket science dude.
