I am just finishing up my DWC project and I am unsure on what type of NUTRIENTS to add to my water....

Starting Nutrients...? DWC
Veg Nutrients...? DWC
Flowering Nutrients...? DWC
Clone Nutrients...? DWC

What does everyone recommend, I need to know ASAP!

In the top right of your screen there's a search box. Type Deep Water Culture and you'll get a list of strings with dwc information.

That didnt help........

I used a hydro nute called Rockwool magic. I like it, also used the same stuff for a coco grow. Any hydro nute will work for you.

Asap why? Slow down and breathe. What type of dwc "project". If you posted some pics of the stage you are at
we can all get a better idea of what's going on. Less is more in dwc. You are going to smoke it after you grow it right?
dwc can be some of the sweetest bud on earth. Or it can turn out to be a nasty fireworks show when lit, give ya throat burn
and in general, suck. You need to try what you think is best over a dozen or so grows. It takes time to get right.

Study the npk, know your Plant.

Read em both and you will understand why you don't want to do anything "ASAP" when it comes to feeding your entire grow.

Don't mean to rag on you. But the nutes you use and how you use them is, and always will be, a personal choice.
Don't by the hype or the advertising. We spend less than 30 dollars per YEAR with 4 or more harvests in dwc.

Now that we are going Aquaponics our nutrient bill should be cut in half. Hopefully. We are experimenting with it now.

Study up, less is more in dwc. I'm gonna sub in and watch. If I see something, I'll holler out. If I can be of help.

It's fine. Follow the directions. Make sure you don't overdo it.

I stopped using it after half a grow. Personal reasons.

It does and will work. Go start to finish and keep a notebook, watch their reaction.

You'll get it.

Less is more.

Nope. Now see this is where I jump the hell out. I have no other comments about nutes.

You will have to experiment. Your jumping from FN to Botonicare and I have bad opinions of BOTH. My opinions.
Study the ingredients, break it down and tell me you have in those that is "superior" to Nature.

You need to read and understand what you are putting in your Plants.

I have no further comments on nutes, use what you find that works for you.

All I am interested in is people's opionions and experience with the different varieties of nutrients out there... There are so many out there and everyone has there opinions and facts about them, thats what I am looking for...

I have already studied on nutrients and what each on does, I have a couple charts also, 1 for each stage actually! I dont need to read more on them sir, I am satisfied... So you dont have to be rude about it!

You've been BOOMED

I've been using Pure Blend Pro grow, bloom, liq karma, cal/mag, hydroplex, and grandmas molasses.
Always used less than what the bottle said. 1/4 - 1/2
Don't know how some ppl can max out that stuff. Plus, that was soil grows anyway.
But have read plenty of ppl that use it for DWC too, and like it just the same or more or worse. Ya feel me.
Doing DWC for the first time right now too.
Using GH 3 part Micro, Bloom and Grow. Not using Grow right now though. Added with Cal/Mag by PBP
First time running GH, so can't tell you much yet. Plants are green and growing.
Doing 12/12 from seed in Igloo coolers. 4ea of Magic Monkey and Ultimate ChemDawg 08 S1's. Visit thread.

man its hard to get help in here...everyone just wants to be a dick and say do research or some other a-hole answer. I fing hate that! Its like dude I did research and instead of doing trial and error on my plants I would just like your opinion. Reading product info and statistics is one thing (everyone says theres is the best) but everyone wants to know FIRST HAND EXPERIENCE and thats why we ask these questions on specific forums. So here is mine... I use flora nova grow and bloom, I use superthrive during the veg with the nutes and molasses with the nutes during flowering... Seems to do good. I use one tsp of nutes per gallon of water in maximum growth, not sure if I should increase this dose or not but I am new to DWC and dont wanna over do it. I have been thinking about adding in some white shark (beneficial bacteria) and bud candy during flowering but dont have the extra $ right now maybe next op..

o ya i use dwc also and have seen good results with flora nova in dwc from others also.

ive started using gh in lucas formula in bubble buckets, but have been getting mag def, i thought i had hard water ec about 0.35 ? so use micro for hard water. apparently this is common when using gh lucas. i have used cal/mag on some and just epsom salts on others, they seem to be getting better. ph was ok at 5.83, why the mag def with gh????

there are farmers on here that blast the shit out of their plants with all kinds of chemicals & nutes... just as there are other farmers that dont.

the plant(s) will ALWAYS tell you what they need... so learn to read your ladies.

all you need to do : get a basic nute formula (grow & bloom) & then go from there.

i was thinking about moving to house and garden nutes (highly respected) but what i am using is cheap & works like brand new money.

so you know, i run a 6 bucket dwc set up, a dwc cloner, and also roll with the ol' stand by (soil) because i am so damn deft at producing clones.

my nute schedule is based on plant stage, strain, medium used, research, and past experience.

in my stable : quickgrow grow & bud (ebay), superthrive, black strap molasses, esu boost juice, ph down, clonex, hygrozyme, and h202 (hydrogen peroxide)

you should definitely learn to use a ppm meter... i am sure you know it's a very important (hydro) dwc tool.

not to break chops, but bloomer57 is right : study up.

people use all kinds of stuff to grow the wonderful maryjane.

being well read, and blessed with the love of research, i never follow the leader... i get all the information i can find, apply it to my grow set up, and make my own path.

Ok so here are the updates for the next stage, I still have a third final stage possibly... Or I will just stick with this setup, still debating... Or just make another one for another strain I descide to get...

Ok , so here is a simple break down... I am using two 3" Net Pots + Hydroton as a grow medium and Rockwool for the plants and roots to set in... I burried the rockwool with the plants in them about half way in the net pots and then put the hydroton rocks around the rockwool... Turned out great and very supportive...

Everything as you can see worked out very clean and setup up right... I have in the mail as we speak a Waterproof pH/Temperature Meter Auto Calibration °C/ °F, Digital TDS Meter/Tester Water/Purit​y/Filter 9999 ppm and for my nutriets I have descided to go with BOTANICARE CNS17 COCO GROW & COCO BLOOM - 1 QUART COMBO. And as well as for my Aeroponics Setup I am still working on for the small version I order this DC Submersible Fountain Pond Water Pump so that I can have a DWC Setup and Aeroponics Setup combined, see how the results turn out...

The IMPORTANT PART: The Rooting System... The Clones are about roughly 1.5 weeks old, the root system on this clone are exceptional and will to florish in a huge root mass as expected...Clone 2 has rooted untike Clone 1 is still having trouble... I will have picture of Clone 1's roots soon, just waiting until they develop or even start...
