A-51's: Multi-Strain; Multi-Lights

Things are coming along quite nice. This is the end of week 6 and they look to be finishing a little ahead of schedule. Another reason why I am liking these strains. The two on the left are the LSD's and the two on the right are the Black Russians.

The BR's seems to have picked up a rust fungus from what I think to be over watering. It's more an aesthetic issue I think at this point as just a few fan leaves are suffering. I have been messing with a few different soils and didn't get enough perlite in this batch. It stays wet longer than I like.

I have two Extremas that I am going to start flowering this weekend. I have heard good and bad things about the Extrema but will see how she does for myself. I have some Choc Rain, Lady Cane, Heri IBL, Blue Hammer, and Mad Scientist. I only want to pop one strain at a time. With the Extremas working now I want to stay away from the Heri IBL. Thinking about the Choc Rain or Lady Cane but not sure. Any recommendations?

Hey man I don't think I've seen LEDs produce those size colas before I'm impressed! I have 3 extremas close to flower as well with some chocolate rains that just poked their little heads out of the rapid rooters this afternoon. It's my first run with sannie & esko gear though so I couldn't speak on any experiences with the strains. I already regret not grabbing that lady cane. I don't think you can go wrong with any of those.

I'll be following along for sure.

Extrema will stretch out to 5 feet tall with little veg time. Chocolate Rain can get tall and branchy. Lady Cane puts off the biggest buds I have ever seen. Thigh sized. If you have the F3, there is an Apple Curry pheno in it. There is a Raspberry Chocolate pheno in the Chocolate Rain. Here are some photos of F3 Lady Cane a guy on another site just finished.

Thanks for the kind words everyone. Due to space restrictions and a nursery that is starting to get ridiculous I decided to cut the girls last night. It wasn't the plan at first but there was no way of moving them without damaging them as I normally spend the last 72hrs in a dark closet. I did manage to get about 32 hours of darkness before chopping them. The plan was to chop one of each strain after 12 of darkness then cut the others after 72 and see what truly happens. Maybe next time.



The bottom row has the two that were in the 5gal and the top are the 3gal. I am curious to find out the end weight difference to see if the 5gal containers are worth the extra costs.


Just as these four were chopped four more took their places. Same strains. LSD and Black Russian. The back left and front right are the LSD's. One reason I am liking this pheno is the way it grows in a bowl or crown with no training.



This is the nursery. The back row in the 1gal smart pots are the Extremas. Everything else is LSD, BR, and AK/Yum.



I have an AK/Yum and 2 Extremas in another tent and will have pics soon. The Extremas are just starting to flower and the AK is 3 weeks in.

I have all of them. The Killing Fields green pheno is the best smoke but the purple is prettier. Big plant and good yielder. Jackberry is also a big yielder but takes a while to finish. Holy Princess has great flavor and decent size. Heavy smell. One of the 3 types released in the C99 project. The Mexican releases are beginning now. Two are already at market. Amnesia Haze x Jalisco and Chocolope x Jalisco. Both have good yields and will lay you down flat. The Jalisco x Chocolope has a very nice flavor after cure. None of them will stand up to the Guerrero that will be coming along this year sometime. The Michoacan and Oaxaca strains are in early development.

I let the plants veg as long as it takes the bottom branches to grow even with the tops. I will bend and train the tops as needed while waiting for the bottoms to catch up. I have been waiting until after 10-12 nodes before topping but am now starting to lower that to 6-8 nodes. Not sure which I prefer just yet.

Looking good Med. I figured you knew about Mad Scientist. Sounds like the perfect strain for you.

I have completed the drying and just jarred everything. I ended up with close to 270g of A to A- nugs. Another 120g of very high quality trim and scrub nugs.



This ^^ is the Black Russian and turned out pretty good. It has a very sweet smell that carries over to the flavor. Harvested a tad early for a more energizing effect.



This ^^ is the LSD that turned out ok. It has a citrusy/fuel smell that also carries over to the flavor. The citrus comes out more when grinded. Harvested at 57 days with about a 36 hour darkness period. Very strong and heady. The trim is from both and will be used primarily for ice wax. I have a washing machine from Boldt that makes some pretty good stuff.

I am not one for promoting stuff for free but I strongly encourage any and all people to look into Vapes. I bought a Volcanoe and a Pax and can't be happier. I was a die hard bong/bowl smoker since about 92'. Last winter I started having some respiratory issues (coughing up nasty stuff) and decided to put a paper towel over the bong before I ripped it. I almost had a heart attack when I saw the first pull. Absolutely horrible. I am pleased to report that after 7 months of vaping my cough is damn near gone and I am not coughing up that nasty stuff anymore.

Take care of your respiratory system at an early age.

Here are a few shots of the Extrema. I think I am about 3 weeks into flowering. I was a bit concerned at first with the way they were growing but they seem to be coming along ok.



I also have an AK/Yum going that's around week 4 and am really liking this strain. Very resinous and a big yielder. It has a very interesting smell kind of sweet and sour.



Last is the bread and butter of my perpetual. LSD and Black Russian in a little bit more clean set up than last run. I am tired of not being able to move these plants. I don't like moving them much at all but sometimes you have to and it sucks when they droop to the floor or split from the weight.

Thanks Med. Getting it dialed in. I am putting my Extrema grow together and will post the pics next week. I still think the LSD is gonna be tough to beat. Just seems to get better and better.

I popped the Mad-Scientist / Jackberry last week so we will see how they turn out. Reports have been hit and miss. I am about to let the Black Russian go. It grows well and can produce some big colas but it's pretty airy compared to the LSD.

I have been messing with Bush Load this run of Extrema and am absolutely shocked with the product. It does what it says. Took the stretch right out of the extrema for about 4 weeks. It's some bad shit though and takes 6-8 weeks to clear out of the plant. Definitely do not want to use it after the flowering begins.

My Strawberry Cough was like that.. Nice sized Nugz... would stretch to touch EVERY Wall in the room too... but light Airy Budz! I did keep her for a while cause she was some Potent Smoke. But with Time, I found MORE Potent stuff that grew better, and once she didnt make Top 6... CULLED!

I still have some Patients that LOVE it anyways and still grow it, so I can get her back if I ever wanted, but REALLY got tired of her OverGrowing the OTHER Plants! She DID give me close to a lb once!
