i would top them now anymore, but would i thy them down for sure:) do it right after they got water and the leaves get a bit drop of that, then the stems get a bit softer too and won't break that easily on you. maybe zigzag them by fixing 2 battens to the pots and then thy them to them in a zigzag pattern. after they adapted this pattern you can pull them down some more with a vertical string attached to the pot;)

oh, and put some paper under the string so it won't cut into the stem! panties work apparently to for this but my girl won't let me have hers for that intention:D

i sort of get what you are saying :confused: lol

what i have done, is move the tallest stem out of the way,
the only thing is, is that its not under the lamp any more (its along side the shade).
the reason why i have done this is because this stem is 7ins taller than the rest of the plants, this will in turn allow more light to the rest of the plants and i can get the light closer.
ok i will lose some bud on that stem but i am hoping that the rest will do better because its getting more light and the light will be closer which means more lums.
if i am wrong in my thinking will someone please say

what i did do was prune in the veg stage (got a bit carried away lol)
take a look at the whole post and you will see... :hump:

any guess of what the yeild will be ?

if the lower foiliage is not gettig enough light, you are better off

1. flowering earlier when plants are shorter
2. adding more light
3. cutting off lower foliage and using the cuttings to make clones.

cutting fan leaves should always be last resort and is 99% of the time a BIG NO NO..

was just talking to my bud about this today

1. i thought i put it to flower 2 weeks earlier when it was at 9ins BUT,
this i where i fucked up.
this is how,
the switch on the timer was set to on so the light never went off,
dont know how/WHEN i flicked the switch but i DID
so hence the size lol

2. if they were smaller the side light would be more of a side light than an extra top one.

3. well i didnt get that far, because they have started to show buds and they are all over :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :blsmoke:

yes i did top them,
if you mean take the top crown off when i was veging (it was 3 weeks old when i did)
yes fish,blood and bones is a food supplement that can be purchased from any garden center.
i gave them 1 pinch every other watering (3 times a week)
in the flowering, twice a week

Hi all
Another 7 days have gone,
Things are looking O.k.J
We are now at 51ins tall and the full width of the room (35ins)

last wednesday i noticed that there were some small buds appearing
It was very strange because on Tuesday there was no sign (had white hairs/pistols)
Wonder if it had anything to do with the molasses?

I put the 400w lamp in today; don’t know how long I will be able to use it but im using it for now.
Haven’t used any more molasses as of yet going to on friday.
Have got one concern and that is that the leaves on the top of one of the branches have gone into like a claw and very thin, there are pics so you can see what I mean (3rd pic)
can anyone tell me what’s up?
1st pic= whole of the room and plants
2nd=buds :)
3rd= droppy leaves only on this branch and only at the top the rest is ok i think

can someone please tell me if there is any way of slowing the growth down?
dont think there is but you never know

also can i still pinch the stems so they bend over or am i too late into flowering? (the stems are pretty thick and dont want to snap them)

hi all

Here is my weekly update.
Gave them some molasses on Sunday and on Monday I could see the difference in the size of the buds.
Don’t get me wrong they didn’t triple in size or anything but they looked a lot bigger (seems to grow quicker when I added the molasses).

They have now reached the top of my room, im not going to try and bend them just let them do it them selves and I will have to see what happens.

Your plants seem to be a bit big lol... Im guessing you will have to start tying them down due to the growth spurts during flowering phase...

yeah they are a bit big but that was an accident lol
not sure about tying them down, never done that before
was going to let them bend there selves on the rook lol
and just pull the one away from the light so they dont get burnt

they dont seem to be growing any more ( thank god )
they were growing a foot aweek :blsmoke:

i am now 5 weeks in (just over)
things are going ok
the plants still look good
had to bend them on sunday because they would of got burnt, that went ok
any comments or guess's on what the yeild might be would be good but if not hay :blsmoke: :blsmoke:

no i havent harvest yet
i think its about 58ins tall
its out grown my room so i had to bend them over,which i did last week

i think i got about 2 weeks left, just done 6 weeks today
