My Tent is getting too hot during the Summer even though I keep the room cool.

Can anyone recommend a good little A/C unit for my Tent.

Got 4 inch Inline Fan, 4X4 Tent, one Tower Fan , one Clip on Fan.

Temperature in the room is 80F, Tent is 90F+.

Still make Buds but they are loose.

Into the same room. I could fix it to go outside.

I had it open on Autos being next to a Fireplace it would get too warm during cold weather but closed it up for Photos and so far doing just fine.

I forgot to add I have a good Filter inside the Tent.

4-inch fan. Could try a larger fan? Crank up your air changes per minute. What is the CFM rating of your current inline fan?

You definitely need to dump that air outside, you are just recycling the same air. Once you start dumping that air outside and bringing fresh air in there’s a good chance you won’t need to worry about an A/C. Good luck

I agree with the comments that your extraction fan is a bit undersized. A six inch fan would do a better job getting your tent temp a little closer to your room temp. And dumping warm tent air outside will help with temps if your room intake air is cooler and dryer than your tent. But you will be venting your air conditioned air outside so that will kind of work against itself depending on the temp and humidity of your intake air.

Would a portable AC work inside tent? Here's the smallest I've found and it is 7000 BTU, which seems like a lot to me.

DENBIG Portable Air Conditioner 7,000 BTU 3-in-1 Air Conditioner, Dehumidifier, Cooling Fan with 2 Fan Speeds, Digital Display & Remote Control, and 24 Hour Timer for Rooms Up to 250 Sq.ft

My grow tents are in a bedroom (which is my lung room). To maintain my lung room throughout the year I have a portable a/c, portable dehumidifier (70 pint), and a portable heater and use these as needed when needed with a temp/humidity controller.
My 6” ac infinity inline exhausts above the ceiling into the attic right below a roof vent. I also have an additional 6” flex duct going through the ceiling into the attic for my portable a/c for the hotter times of the year.
Get the equipment needed to dial in your lung room and your grow tent will follow suit and be dialed in better. What are your plans beyond flower when you have to dry? Do you have a cool area for that?

What size of an area are you trying to cool down? A 10,000 BTU may be a better option to go with.
A portable a/c inside the tent would take up precious space imo. I would rather run a duct to the tent to cool it or cool the room/area the tent is located at. Unless you’re growing in a badass 16’x10’ tent

Have a small A/C unit keeping our Radios cool get one like that should work.

"but it sucks the Tent in "

This implies that you are not getting a free flow of intake exchange. Like, your tent is too 'tight'?

Regardless, CaliRoots88 has the best solution, if possible. Manage the lung room environment. smokeout.gif
