a clone of a clone of a clone

iv got a plant that was a clone of a clone and possibly of a clone....

if i clone this plant (the clone of the clone of a clone) ill have like a 4th generation clone
iv heard every generation you clone it slowes plants vigor and yeild? anyone have any input? i want to keep this strain going (master x bubba) but if its gonna suck ass or take like 5 weeks longer then it should im kinda iffy about it

well.. I have been growing Nirvana Bubblelicious this way for a year. I can tell you the roots are all at the top in a circle. I grow in dirt and yields for me seem to be lower when growing these clones in a large 5 gallon bucket. I seem to get larger yields in a 2 gallon pot. I can usually take a cutting, put it in rockwool for 3 weeks, then veg it for 2-4 weeks under a 400w hps then flower it for 60 days.

I have heard the same thing about the plant getting less vigorous. I don't know but in my experience over the last 5 years with the same variety I'm on cloned mom # 6 and I see and feel no difference. Them if they were no identical they would not be clones.

A cutting has the potential to produce just as much dank bud at the same/similar growth rate as the plant it was taken off of(as well as retaining its age and gender) and does not get affected by doing this generation after generation. A cutting will have the same genetics and growth/yeild will only be affected by environmental factors. recommended to take cuttings off of a plant in vegetative state or not long into flower as I've heard cuttings off of already flowering plants that reverted have a higher tendency to go hermie.

It seems to take along time for them to Lose their Vigor But they slowly do over time ...I had a plant I kept taking a clone of a clone of a.... and Genetic Drift Started to happen In My case my jagged leaves went round... And I mean teardrop smooth round edges ....So I know that over time The genetics do Start to tend to morph for better or worse or weird :)

Some will tell you that it makes a defference some will say it makes none......I believe that it makes no difference i have no proof im just going by what ive done and seen and i think a 4th gen plant it not old i heard people doing like 20 gen plants and being fine your 4th gen ant shit it will be great........I buy clones from the club all the time who knows what gen they are and i have big yields......Worry about how you grow and what you use that will make the difference not the gen
