A couple questions

So, I don't have a very good setup so far... I got a ebb&flow with only perlite as my grow medium. I'm at day 5 since my seedling sprouted and I have it under flouro's. I live in a really rainy area, but once the summer kicks up I was hoping to leave my plant in the sunlight for a couple hours a day, during my light cycle. Currently, I am going with 18/6. I plan to get a HID soon. But till I do, I was hoping to get some input about using the sunlight whenever its avalible.. Its not very regular, and if it was rainy, I'd pull the plant inside. Any tips or ideas would be appreciated.

Also, I was wondering if someone could tell me how often I should use pure water vs nute solution... Any suggestions plx?

If your hydroponic system is easily mobile "like a bucket full of perlite" then just set it in an open window during midday. im a hydro guy at heart but i recommend just using a 5 gallon or 2.5 gallon bucket with some organic potting mix in it for your low budget grow.... just try to get a harvest to fund a bigger better room

when the plants are just babies dont use any nutrients in your water. keep it straight up ph 6.0 no nutrients for the first 2-3 weeks or until you see a slight yellowing in their leaves. then add a small amount of nutes untill leaves look normal again, add more if needed later. if you flush your plant out with straight water about once a month it also helps cure alot of other problems and no nutrients 10 days before you harvest so plan it out

Thanks for the response. :) I was feeding my nutes at a 25% of what it told me to mix with water. Would you recommend switching to straight water now, or keep at the 25%?
