Hello
I have been lurking on RIU for over a year. I have been planing and constructing this build for about a month.
I see post after post of CXB3590s in every configuration with aluminum angel connecting them, while that is a great way to get the job done it lacks the finish of pre made in my humble opinion.
Then I saw Growmau5 canopy light and started down the rabbit hole with light design, it demonstrated to me that you can go wild and get a great product if you spend the time. I started with construction all manor of steel contraptions with 80/20 but i never got the right "look" that i was going for. so i decided to use the material i know the best with is wood. I wanted to base the light off of the new CLU058 from citizen with meanwell drivers, pretty standard. I also wanted to use 660nm and 730nm built into the light .
I present my light.
The start 2x walnut 4-4 rough cut, kiln dried. Dog for project luck.

Boards cut to strips and placed in the desired arrangement.
Glue clamp repeat.
Always a scary part. hours have been spent getting it to this point.
Holes drilled and routed. 50% sanded.
Layout planed and mocked up.
Deep red and Far red stars in their heat-syncs
Connectors to the driver panel.
Remote driver panel.
Finished Product.
