okay i couldnt be fucked reading all that but im going to express my opinion anyway .... yes i grow weed but i dont smoke it , and yes i think weed is worse then alcohol , although as u said someone dies every 3 seconds from alcohol thats only because a shit load more people drink then smoke.weed leads to a fucking shit load of mental problems and mental dieseses such as psychosis and paranoia. and im pretty sure the dutch only grow because they can i allways thought weed only grew naturally around iraq and mexico
Well, luckily you're in the right forum to re-learn what you've been mistaught.
I'd like to correct you on a few points if I may.
The Dutch grow because they realize that if a problem continues to be a problem even though all extreme measures have been taken, regulation vs. criminalization may be a better solution. They still spend more money on criminalization of harder drugs than most other countries though. They realize MJ isn't the devil everyone assumes.
Any mental "problems" that develop with marijuana usage are limited only to the time spent under the influence of the D9THC. Short term memory loss, paranoia, etc., are the same as impaired motor functioning while under the influence of alcohol. Once the body has processed the THC and converted them to metabolized cannabinoids, the "problems" clear themselves up. You have as much, if not more, of a chance of developing mental disorders from the carbon monoxide poisoning from cigarettes as you do from MJ.
Yes, MJ was said to originated from Western Asia but is is found growing naturally in every part of the world save Antarctica and the furthest part of the northern hemisphere. Being illegal in this country, most MJ came from Mexico so this is a source of a lot of misinformation.
Two major studies by the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration have confirmed marijuana's relative safety compared to alcohol. The first, the most comprehensive drug accident study to date, surveyed blood samples from 1882 drivers killed in car, truck and motorcycle accidents in seven states during 1990-91.Alcohol was found in 51.5% of specimens, as against 17.8% for all other drugs combined. Marijuana, the second most common drug, appeared in just 6.7%. Two-thirds of the marijuana-using drivers also had alcohol. The report concluded that alcohol was by far the
dominant drug-related problem in accidents.
