A&E's "Pot City USA" AKA Humboldt

So naturally I thought grow ops were cool, but this documentary makes some pot growers look REALLY bad. I mean, shit, I never thought I'd say anything bad about weed but this shit was pretty compelling. Apparently these houses people were renting all over were literally completely destroyed from all the mold and chemical damage. This special was all about the stoner's paradise of good ole humboldt co. The product they had was pretty sick though. This guy had like a duffle bag full of hash, insane.

That did suck but oh well it's the truth. They should have explained more clearly that if prohibition were just ended that all the negative things associated with pot like those destroying houses or forests etc would completely end.

Only the situation we're in now forces shit like this.

Well it brings awareness to the issue which is good. People are truly more forced to sit down and deal with the issue and find logical solutions. Obviously, POT isn't going away, that's never going to happen, if anything its been in favor stronger now than ever before. The only solution can be to legalize it at a price that will put the profit growers out of business so that the only people who do grow are doing it for the love of the hobby.

It would grow in bulk on farms under the sun like any other crop and just let the market find a normal price as with any other vegetable or plant. It shouldn't even cost as much as tobacco but more than broccoli/lettuce etc. (Unless taxed like mad to keep the price high, which it will be, and for sure it'll be taxed many times what tobacco is)

it is only one side of the story, yes it is true but what about all those people that are being responsible growers? and not doing the illegal side of it.

but atleast all those people in the documentary supported medicinal patients, and made a point to put them in a different category then those that were just out to make a buck and ruin someone elses place and what not

1 house had 1 wall ruined from a "broken water main". total propaganda.

why did they keep showing the same pics throughout the whole show? the same single photo of a burnt apartment building, and the same one house with the bad wall.

maybe the landlord needs to be a little more aware of who he's renting to. most likely knew all along. it is Arcata after all.

I was disappointed with how one sided it was. That is a small percentage of people destroying homes and shit. :weed:

they go on and on about how the whole town is being taken over, then they only find 3 people to talk about it.

what ever.

Although this isn't as blatantly one sided as their previous attempts its like "Hey we are actually out here doing field work but we are only going to show you the few dumbasses who don't know what the fuck they are saying"...So yeah, I say fuck it
