A few diffuser questions

Yoooooooooooo everybody, I just gotta few questions. I just bought a new ZOB bong that was surprisingly thick as hell. Anyways it has two, four arm, tree percs (and a splash guard above that). And each arm of the tree percs is diffused.

Anyways I've only used it probably 10 times now and it's got resin stains on the wall already, that are just small lines from smoke coming out of the diffusers. Has anyone else had this experience? And is it possible that it is just from me tilting the bong too much so there's no water filtering the smoke on that side?

Also how can I clean inside of these things?! Any tips would be awesome. I believe I'm just going to use the salt and rubbing alcohol method. Let me know if you have any experiences with this type of stuff.

Hey buddy. Grats on the new bong. Pictured is my piece. Not as big as yours but similar ideas/problems are involved.

I use this thing all the time. As you can see it looks like its never been touched! Here's the secret :

Rubbing Alcohol (70 or 90% depending on filth level) and Salt. I use a 3 lb tube of shurshine un-iodized salt. Sometimes I also add in a small amount of Epsom Salts in the bottom due to the larger granule sizes. Don't put Epsom in the top. Granules wont fit through the splash guard holes.

How I clean it is as follows :

1. Pour salt into the top and into the base of the bong. The more you use the better off you are.

2. Pour in alcohol. Both top and bottom.

3. Grab a towel and put it between the base of the bong and your hand encase the alcohol makes the bottom of the bong slippery.

4. Covering both the down stem tube and mouth hole, shake vigorously sideways and stir in a swirling motion.

5. Rinse bong out with water making sure to get all the salt granules out.

6. Repeat until satisfied.

As an added note get yourself an ash catcher. Will help you with this problem immensely in the future.

dude i'm so mad it just broke a day ago. easier to clean now, just not usable. haha. but it broke in a perfect circle right where the top of the beaker (my base is a beaker) so it broke right above the beaker, where it meets the tube.
and the first tree perc is connected to the base and the tube with the other tree perc and splash gaurd.

so now what i'm wondering is could I glue the pieces together. well i know i can. but i'm basically wondering what glue can stay soaked in water (like i mentioned the glue would only exposed to the water in one perc) without it poisoning me somehow?

so my questions is, what glue, can keep glass pieces together (very very strong - since it would be holding a bit of wieght from the base) and will be okay exposed to the water?
obviously i'd wait a day or two for the glue to completely dry, but after that there would be water exposed to the glue.

haha i think this was a pretty confusing post so sorry about that. but i payed $230 for this and i really want to make it at least functional.
any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated.
greatlyyyy!
thaknks!

Aquarium silicone is good cause it is water proof. I had a small leak at the top corner of my 100 gallon aquarium and I covered it in aquarium silicone and now it is good as new. They use it for a lot of diy hydroponic set ups. That is probably what i would use to fix it man

you think it would be strong enough to hold the base of the bong to the rest of the tube?
thanks again for the tips.

If you apply a good bit and are very gentle when handling the bong it should be alright. It will be better than completely broken....
