A few questions about autoflowering seeds and my first post :)

I failed to see an actual strain mentioned. I only saw a breeder name, that being Nirvana. So what strain where you asking about when you said you; "would like to know if anyone has tried that strain?"

Yeah you could use biobizz, or you could use canna.
Personally i would reccomend using Canna Coco soil, and the Cann Coco A+B nutes.
As for the strain, it's entirely up to you, see what suits your needs pest, potency or yield, and then go for the one you want.

Nirvana's Auto seeds have only been out for about 2 months so the jury is still out as to whether they are any good or not, there are a few Nirvana Auto grows on here that are near to finish if you do a search.. How are you gonna grow them? soil, hydro etc? & what strain? then we can help better with your Q's

I think he means all autoflowering strains in general, and would like a recommendation of which strain to go with...bad choice of words, but I think we got the message...

@gunner4lyfe...No growing experience with autos, but I have heard great things about Auto Northern Lights...

ohhh sorry about the mix up guys , yeah I was looking at northen lights, I suppose I will be using that

@edsthread I will be using soil and a 600w hps light in a 1.2m x 1.2m x 2m grow tent and the strain I think i'm gonna go ahead and get Northen Lights.

one more thing is a ph meter essential ? because I'm kinda running low on money and cant really afford one sad times

Most strains could be concidered easy IF you know what your doing ... But even someone inexperienced can grow from seed if they do the right things at the right times ... its not the seed that makes it easy ..its the wisdom ..Get my point ?

You could go for a strain thats resistent to things ( thus making it easy ) Or a strain that don't fall over if the PH in your water is a little to high or low or if you over / under feed them with nutes .

I just posted a recomendation for " Flying Duchman Pot of gold " seeds thats pretty foolproof .... lets put it like this ...If i can grow them ..so can you ... Reports say they are tough as old boots and dont die at the slightest change of enviroment or if you PH happens to be 0.1 over the recomended leavles heheh .

To sum up .... Autoflowering Don't mean easy ride ... Other strains can be very forgiving and great to learn with .... Just so happens that Pot of gold is a awesome strain .. easy to manage ...and a fantasic smoke .... OH ..and to top it off ... High Yeild lol ....Perfect for you in my opinion !

He also mentioned that he looks forward to the experience of multiple grows in a shorter period of time, that the autos can provide...
Another beginner's strain I would recommend(bare in mind, this one is not auto) is Sensi Star, it is a very durable plant and has been proven to withstand the onslaught of pests and disease better than most strains

A pH pen or probe would be handy yes, your tap water should be near the recommended Ph range anyway if you are growing in soil, I have seen many growers who just use tap water & nutes that have had great grows without the need for a pH equipment, I have always used one personally just for peace of mind. I have grown Blue Mystic from Nirvana many times (awesome stuff) & Bubbleicious (all seeds hermed on me) Not grown NL but smoked it a few times.. it's a good smoke, but not all that powerful I found, not one I would grow for my own smoking needs.. It is a very resiliant strain though so would handle a few mistakes from a noob grower!

I might try doing a few regular strains along with a few autoflowering strains just so I get a quick harvest along with a high yielding harvest. best of both worlds I suppose

Ahh i must have overlooked that part .... But on that point ... the write up on the POG says long for flowering outdoors , But i know from obbserving my friend growing this strain for years ... They are up like a crack whore in the morning looking for a fix .... Pretty quick

We both make the same point about going for a durable strain though ...I think its pricless so find an easy to handle strain for beginners like myself ....Less problems = more time to learn from other peoples problems

Never smoked northern lights but I have heard some good things about it. How much did you pay for the ph pen mate ?
I want a strain that would give me a really good couchlock because round here the quality of weed round here isn't very good
and yep i support the might arsenal nice to see another arsenal supporter on the forum

I shit you not .... its the answer to your situation.. as i just pointed out above ..it says long grow outside ...indoors its pretty quick .. Its potent ... a little bit of it and i can function from day to day with ease and just have a nice long lasting high .... a lot of it and im mangled .... and high yeild if you take the veg period nice and easy .

At the end of the day though dude the choice is yours .... But for ease of use ... good gear ...high yeild ....resistent to loads of nastys ...and it dont die if you look at it from the wrong angle ! ... AWARD WINNER ! ..... Pot of Gold is what i will recomend all day long ... and only 40 quid ... lol

I've got alot to think about before I order my seeds, wouldn't you get the same kinda yield if you had two autoflowering harvest in the same amount of time as it would take to have only 1 harvest of a regular strain?
but hey what do I know right lol oh and the person who suggested using canna nutes, where's the best place to get them from over the internet ?

You can get pH pens on eBay for about 7 quid inc p&p (budget end).. You can also get Canna nutes on eBay or pretty much any Hydro/Grow store in the UK.. just google it

I am now going to grow as many Autos as I can instead of just one BIG plant..(I have a grow tent so Autos are perfect) you can knock a good 3 weeks at least off the harvest time too..
