Most dehumidifiers that are "digital" aren't accurate anyways. Either way make sure it will "auto restart after power outage". This way you can plug it in to a reliable controller like an inkbird humidity controller.
Yeah, I had to send mine in for another issue, the factory tech, checked the sensor too and found it out of calibration.
Ever since mine came back, it and the RH meter a few feet away track each other real close.
Water won't flow uphill so make sure the hose goes downhill from the dehu. Also know that when the jug fills the dehu won't shut off and you will have a mess to clean.
