id say for 1 plant, if you want an autoflower that dosent smell, go with Polar Express from Auto Seeds (available through many seed banks) its a northern lights and g13 haze hybrid, the northen lights give it a low odur and indica tendancys, whiel the g13 adds some sativa high and makes the plant capable of growing taller then some other autoflower strains.
id say id get a 2x2x4.6 tent or similar, you will want some ventilation for the tent, and it dosent hurt to have odur control even for a low smell strain, so a carbon filter would be good (especially in an apartment). as for what lights to use everyone has there own opinion on whats best, but it really comes down to your own situation. An HPS light would be very hard to cool in a small tent and would lead to needed noisy fans. for 1 plant you are best off with an array of CFL lights or a strong high quality LED light
these are my opinions based on research into doign a small grow myself. i have no actual growth experience, but i have spent that last 3 months scouring the internet for every tidbit of knowledge i could find. i myself have choosen Polar express and LED lighting for my 2x3x5 tent. and now im just waiting for my lgiht to arrive so i can germ my seeds, hooray!
