Nah mate that's a bit to much lol you may have 11.5 l pots but your plant is really small. I'm on the toilet so can't tell how much exactly but like 400 ml would be a safe bet I guess, just not 3 liters of water lol
I got this information because everywhere I read, I'm told to water 1/4 of the pot size and make sure I do the wet to dry cycle. I also read that I should plant my auto in the big pot instead of a planting it in a small one and move it as it grows bigger so I tend to give it more water. Most of the time, the more I read, the more I get confused..

I guess that could depend on how often you water, but common sense plant wont get 3l of water with rain in the nature

Yes plant in final pot. Especially if you’re already confused up potting (I think it’s called or I made it up) isn’t needed for autos.

I’ve seen them planted in 5 gallon buckets.

3L sounds like a lot. I water until run off unless I’m flushing or changing nutrients completely then I put a bunch through.

But I am finding it confusing to understand how much to water especially at the current stage..

Water slowly until water starts to come out the bottom of the pot. Then when u see it stop. More will follow and you are done. Remove remaining water so roots aren’t in water. Then let it dry until the pot is super light and repeat.

About an inch of water collects into my tray my pot is sitting in. Then I dump it out and put it back under the light
