Again, to reiterate, you will NEVER hear the name Sarah Palin again as it relates to government outside of Alaska. Unless it's about something the Republicans will release in a press statement now that the election is over. I can't truly believe that you really think you will, as you seem like a fairly bright person overall.

I find it funny also that no one seems to bring this up...Obama is a Black Man!! Oh my!! That alone is enough to make some people around the world think twice about the USA. I know some people want to "act locally", but not many seem to want to "think globally". You all aren't on this planet alone you realize. The fact that a black man got elected by more middle class, college educated, WHITE, folks than even Bill Clinton should say something. It also throws a lot of other repressed countries around the world on their collective ears. The populations of these countries will see this election in various ways, one of which will doubtless be, "if that country can go against everything we've been told about it... THEN SO CAN WE!" It also mobilizes the black community in this country to know that they can be whatever they wish instead of picturing themselves as the down-trodden. Human nature will set in eventually and some will become complacent, but those that put forth an effort will find themselves better off than they were previously. Barack Obama's Presidency can only be looked at as a positive over the long run of history, even if he were to turn out to be the worst President ever. Which, by the way, I don't think will turn out to be the case.:)
