A little confused on strip wattage samsung from datasheet

looking to order some of these:

they say on the datasheet that F562B which is the type, min power consumption in watts is 24.5w, but im going to run the strips at 700mA each, which be the equivalent of voltage of each strip 23v x 0.7mA = 16.1, does this mean that the strips won't run? sorry as this confuses me a little.

i'm using a 200w driver, was going to use 8 strips, but if they do infact use 16.1w at 700mA then ill buy and use a couple more.

That's not a "minimum" power that the boards will run, what the min and max power numbers mean is there is some variation from strip to strip so there is a range of voltage that's required to get the 1120 mA rated current from them. Some strips may only need 21.9V to get 1150 mA and some may require as much as 24.2V to get the same current.

At 700 mA the forward voltage is actually going to be a little lower and the power will be a little less than 16.1 - you could probably run 12 strips on that supply.

The Q series are slightly better on paper if you're running them under 800ma as they are 20% cheaper for a similar efficiency. But the gains from under driving them isnt really worth the extra cost. 1a-1.4a is the best range for cost vs performance for the f series.

We are the cheapest for f series strips in the EU. 21.99 each for the double 560mm f series.
