A little help?

Just curious if I can start my clones in the dwc? A friend rooted clones now i'd like to know if i can place them in my dwc.. If so, how do i go about. put clone in rockwool etc.... Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Yes you can but not having done it I don't want to venture further. Google sprouting clones in dwc, it will probably take you to an riu thread.

I was looking into the same thing.. I was told that you would just put the clone into a net cup and fill it with Hydroton.

absplutely you can root clones in dwc, but i wouldnt use small mesh pots. when roots start to grow through bottom of pots, you'll damage roots transferring them to a larger pot when they are ready. instead, get a new lid for dwc, be it a rubbermaid 10 gallon, a 5 gal paint bucket, whatever. now stop at walmart and get a pool noodle. one of those long, maybe 6ft foam pool toys kids use that float. use that to cut circles out of it and cut a slice like the first cut of a pie. dont cut a wedge out like a piece of pie, just one single cut in it like halfway through taking the first piece of pie. now take the foam discs you cut, and use a hole saw to cut a hole in the new dwc lid for each one of the discs you want to use. pnow open the disc kinda like pacman would look with his mouth open and place cuttings in the disc and disc in hole. you'll want water to be around 75F to encourage root growth. you can also buy premade neoprene discs from a hydro store, but theyre about 50 cents each, very expensive. you should see good root growth within 10 days

A friend already has rooted clones in a aeroponic. I'm just taking some of his. My question is how do insert them in net pods? Do I place rooted clone in grow cube? Can i just place rooted clone at bottom of net pod with hydroton on top?

I think you want to put it in some kind of cube, I hear rapid rooters are good. Then put it in your netpot surrounded by hydroton. I guess many also use cloning gel first.
