A Massive WARNING Against Agro-Light!!!!

I love cfls! the technology is just getting better and better in.the.basement knows where its at. Marineland just came out with a new series of eclipse bulbs that at only a meer 15 watts throw off as many lumens as a 100w mh, I am going to be trying these my next grow.

Damn that's sick, where can I get it?

Right now I believe they are only putting them out in their hex 5 aquariums to test. I have gotten like 7 or 8 of them so far from the ones with broken bases at work. It says you can order replacements and im trying to find a way to do it online instead of phone orders.

Oh yeah tetra is going to be coming out with a 13w version for their 5-7 gallon tanks in a few weeks so I am going to be getting some of those too.

Incandescents are definately the wrong bulb, but Phillips does make HID lights and I'm pretty sure the guy with the 1000 watter is using one (I'm thinking Son T Agro )

hell yeah when it comes to hps, if it not uvb enhanced it's phillips or hortilux

keep it 1.5-2 feet from the plant with hps unless its cooled...

I wish I could pass the blame to something else with all of my problems in life. Wouldn't that be great?!?!?!

Wouldn't that distance cause the plants to stretch?
