Hydrokronics

I wanted to put this out there not only to see what everybody thinks about this, but whether or not he is completly wrong? On page 299, In the Hydroponics chapter. There is a section called Deep Water Culture (DWC) and it says ".......The net pots are nested in holes in a lid the covers the reservoir. The roots of seedlings and cuttings dangle down into the nutrient solution. A submersible pump lifts nutrient solution to the top of a discharge tube where it spashes into the access lid. Nutrient solution cascades down, wetting roots and splashing into the self-contained reservoir below, which in turn increases dissolved oxygen in the solution......." This to me would be a Top Feed system and the next page has a very good description of a top feed. Which sounds almost the same just worded even better and more descriptive. I "thought" a DWC was just the Large air stone and the water level of the Res. was right below the net pot. NO water delivery system in a DWC, or so i thought. If i am wrong i would love to know and/or if this is just a different type of DWC then i would love to be corrected also. Thanks everyone for you time and if you havnt read this book I would suggest it to anyone who is thinking about starting any hobby! Def one of the best
