A new flush method?

cut plant at base, and stick in a bucket of distilled water. the pant will suck up nute-free water, and eat up its reserve nutes. i only have a small gig going, and cannot test this theory for a while. if someone has a larger plantation than i, wants to give this a go........it think there may be something in this. what do you other farmers think?

new grower here so my input is based purely on speculation..... but will this plant take up water if you chop it off with no root structure anymore? or at least enough to do what you are wanting?

cool idea if it would work.

i don't think so, hope. it will want to pump resin to its buds, because it knows its time is at an end. in Africa, they shove a sharp stake thru the stalk near the end to stress the plant near end of flower.

Tell ya what scrog, I got a few ladies im gonna be plucking from the room soon, ill give it a go, now whats this about flavoring the water? Maybe a fruit juice concentrate? Like a really low dose? Throw few idears out che and ill try something out.

cool!! thank you hope! i was thinking a few drops of vanilla extract, maybe. but extracts; not juices. they will have nutes. we're gonna be weed-famous......lol. i mean....it seems like a good theory. we'll talk!

Im down like a mattress on the ground. But we gotta figure it out soon. And I usual dont upload pics I may make an exception. The strain shall be tested on the very famous white wider ( widow) throw that in there so no one gets confused thinkin I breed somethin.

no pics necessary. never change your rules. i thought a clamp, keeping the plant stable in the bucket. chop, into solution for 24 hours, in dark, and then chop/prune as normal. i been thinkin' on this one.....lol.

nah.......this one's all about quality. weight loss/gain will be negligible. there is only so much cellular space in a plant.

Why not just flush with a flushing agent without torturing the plant to death? CAN'T WE ALL JUST GET A BONG?! :bigjoint: lol But, I think you would just end up shocking the plant more than it would produce any type of significant resin. Think about it. The plant at the end of it's life is focusing on reproducing through resin and bud growth. That's priority number 1. Roots are last because it's already developed. When you chop it, it immediately sends the plant into shock, redirecting it's priority number 1 from reproducing to, "holy shit-i need roots now." Thus, transferring all of it's energy into healing the wound you just made. I like the idea man. I just think you'll get further with a flushing agent. Or flushing your medium with water for 2 weeks.
