Recently watched a show, many here may also have watched.
It was about growers, in Co. , and they went into the medicinal uses of MJ.,.
Several important issues were talked about.

First , and most important issue , was the use of mj.,for young children, who suffer from seizure disorders, and elderly, who suffer from any illness that includes tremors .
First , the one little girl , who had seizures constantly, sometimes 300 per week, and NOTHING would stop them.
she was a twin , and about 16 mo.'s old , when it started, for her.
It was affecting her mental and physical abilities, and by age 3, she still didn't speak, or walk, etc. (her twin , was excelling in life, and the comparison , of the 2 girls, made the effects of the illness, even more noticable.

This young child, had been given , a lifespan , of only age 5, and all drugs , from valium , on down , had been tried, to no avail.
The parents were VERY anti weed. Dad was in the military, and a staunch , law abiding man .

The family was at wit's end, to help their child, and went online, searching for homeopathic help, and found a lot of articles, about cannabis helping many children with the same problem.
They had a moral dilemna, but, wanting help for their child, they went to a local weed store, to give this last ditch effort , a try.
In this situation, it was explained, that you want , just the cannabinoid extract, with NO thc, for a med. , as you don't want the child getting high.
The seller, was thrilled, as mostly , no wanted the cannabinoid only tincture, they wanted weed, high in thc.
He was a bit unwilling to help,due to the age of the patient, but ,when he saw her, saw her condition, he decide to help.
I guess making the tincture is expensive, and giving it to a child, is highly illegal, in America .
But, he sold them what he had, and started on making more tincture.
The first dose, stopped the seizures, she had maybe one or two minor seizures, and after taking it, for a short time, the seizures completely ended, for the child.
