Been flat on my back, legs up on a heating pad for days. Most times i cant hold the phone up. It all gets better till i take a shit. Sitting in the can KILLS me, add that to twisting to wipe my ass and i am down for hours again.
This is bullshit. But no opiates, head is clear till the robaxin kicks in and then i am peroetually sleepy.
This summer I had my first real back injury. I feel your pain, I think. Like a lot of people said heating pad is a help. And try to do some stretches, not sure what your mobility is like right now, but keeping the muscles loose is a big part of keeping that pinch from happening. chiro had me doing some funky stretches, but they do help.
In between my shoulder blades is where my back is mangled, going into a corner and putting my hands up on the wall and kind of pushing the chest into the corner is a good one. Also hamstrings, if they are tight my back is hurting. I like to put my left foot on my right knee (while holding onto wall for balance) and kindof bend forward while bending the leg your standing on, gets the hips loose.
