A proper full melt dry sift tutorial. This time the right way.

No carding, no refining, per usual. That nasty outdoor above pressed thin in my palm for a few seconds..

And this is how the indoor turns out when you have quality.. 10 seconds.. no carding/refining (lololol)

And pressed indoor, fyahhhhhh. I like that people think I should throw this back onto another screen though to 'clean' it up though.. ;)

Haha, yes it is.. i've been roaming the forums and actually just got nixed from another one, I hadn't made a post there in weeks after posting the tutorial and now it's gone and i'm banned.. LOL.

How butthurt are people over this method? Yikes..

Which? This thread?

You break up buds over a screen and do a 10 second sift.. gently lift off the top screen, discard.

Then take the bottom screen, slide it to the side, give it a few taps, and you're done.

The idea is that the whole, long capitate stalks fall sideways in the air and get caught on the bottom screen.. by not bumping or vibrating (which almost everyone did prior, or tried) you achieve a much higher quality.

Instead of having all the crap fall into your good stuff, this separates it and gives you a 2nd grade at the same time which is less pure but also good smoke. It's nice to be able to pull not only amazing quality, but a nice 2nd grade as well to do whatever with..

I have to apologize DSW you were not the rude dude at the Santa Rosa High Times Cup, he was the only person that I kind of recognized, who acted like he knew me and did not introduce himself which made me believe that it must have been you. I saw him again this weekend at the Hempcon and made sure it was not you. I still don't understand why you did not introduce yourself since we were supposed to meet but at the same time I don't really care. As you have seen I have a hot Mediterranean temper, wrong button at the wrong time. My offer was not to compete with you but to show different dry sieve techniques side by side, to make a video and an article of the session, I would have actually be promoting your process which I thought was vital for you since you are always complaining about people ripping you off.
Anyway as an apology here is another invitation if you want to see me do some sieving. I will have a live dry sieve demo at Area 101 Saturday sometimes in the afternoon. Tim Blake is reopening the place as a dispensary and they are also having a Farmer Market "Grand Opening", starting at 2pm. This is an event that you do not want to miss if you live anywhere in Northern Cali. Don't forget to bring your magnifying tool if you come and some of your dry sieve to judge the quality of your work by other mean than pictures but most importantly introduce yourself.

D_Urbmon, let me clarify. Since we're trying to purify the already extracted trichome heads (from grinder), we need to get this dirty sift to fall through the first screen. I'm guessing a few swipes with a card would push most of this material down and the process would work as usual. Perhaps even holding the 60 mesh a couple inches above the second smaller screen and tapping the frame would give the stalks enough air space to fall sideways and get caught on the second screen. Just wanted to hear Texas' input on this, since he has used this method to clean rough sift from a grinder.
