We do not need to confuse the noobs. I know what you are saying though...
The point being is if you buy a seed with heavy couch locking effects and cut it down to early it will be a more clear headed high. Lol

and my point is if you take that seed and alter its environment it will no longer be a couch lock seed. The bud I posted a pic of with 90% amber was a energetic euphoric soaring head high with no ceiling and zero couch lock.

Not trying to confuse the noob's, simply sharing the truth

Thats cool. You can do a lot more with indoor...im an outdoor grower

Is there a way I can tell if my plants are indica or sativa? I know sativas are typically taller and provide more of a couch lock high while indicas are shorter and have more of a head high, but I'm growing from bag seed and have no clue what I have. Tomorrow marks the start of week 8 of flower and from the sugar leafs I've plucked, they still have some time. They're maybe 50% cloudy.

You're half right and half wrong. Sativas ARE taller generally, but they typically have the more cerebral high. Indicas are shorter, but usually are more of a body, potentially "couch lock" high.

There's some difference in the leaves, can't remember off the top of my head, the shape or number of fingers maybe, but I've seen it somewhere, it is definitely on the internet, google it.

You have that backwards Sativa head, indica body

post pics, and we can tell ya which way it leans
 
One plant's leaves look like this:

riddlez is right, for me the easiest way to tell are the very bottom "thumb" leaves, on indica strains ive done those are larger and more horizontal positioned, and the sativas are tiny and usually pointing down
