a question if someone could answer please

just wondering if anyone knows how long you can keep seeds in a sealed container until they are no loger usable?

I can't say for sure I have some bagseed been sitting about a year just germed them and they are growing great if that helps at all hope someon can get you a better answer

I've a lot of conflicting info out there on this subject. From personal experience I have had good germ rates with 2 1/2 yearold seeds stored in light tight container in cool dark place. Now these were seeds I grew and were large fully mature seeds that were dried propery and stored and never opened.
I was getting over 80% germ. But with fresh healthy seeds i get 100% germ most of the time.

I've read you can keep them months to years, your best chance at getting them to live from what I understand, is to store them in a cool dark place!
