Hey folks,
I'm 7 and a half weeks into a Sweet Seeds + Speed (autoflower) outdoor grow. I planned on harvesting today (or at least within the next couple days) - been checking trich's under 40x for the past couple days and it's getting to the point where I don't want any more amber. Buds are swollen, 70%+ of the pistils have browned off.
Unfortunately, it utterly pissed it down for a few in the early hours. Now I don't subscribe to the "starve your plant for x days/weeks pre-harvest" to increase potency mumbo-jumbo. Nor do I think flushing is necessary under my conditions. I grow 100% organic, and (especially these being small autoflowering plants) haven't used a full strength fert dose throughout the grow. Nor have they been given ferts for a couple weeks.
So what I'm trying to ask, I guess, is will chopping now when the plants have just had a big drink do anything more than increase drying time? I'm drying at around 22-24C (71-75F) and 40-45% RH (little bit low I know). Should I be worried about mold? I'm thinking (hoping) RH is a bit low to be worrying.
Regards and thanks in advance.
