Alright peeps.

Just letting you know the winners an looser in the seeds i germinated this last week.

I did 5 Nirvana Pure Power Plant Feminised which all germinated great using the paper towel technique and have now been pottered on when they got to about 2" and are looking really well.

At the same time in the same dish I did 5 Samsara - Shot Adrenaline Feminised Seeds, all of them cracked, showing 1/2" of root and where moved to grow medium the same as the Nirvana BUT, only one has broken through with leaf and upon inspection 2 have turned to mush, one looks dormment and the last has a small leaf but its been the same way for 3 day.

I cant have done 4 out of 5 seed wrong as 5 0f 5 nirvana are going well.

Please let me know ya thougths and any info if anyone has done this seed before.

Thanks

from the same maker??

cus if there is a problem with they they should be avoided. there is no info on the net about is brand so it would be gud if thereis some, good or bad.

they turn to much from fungus and/or bacterial infestation. try doing a 24hr soak in distilled water and aerate the water with a fish take air pump. I would bet quite a bit you're much more satisfied with the results. nice fuzzy radicles. The oxygen being forced into the distilled water your seed is soaking in keeps your water fresh and free of anaerobic bacterium and eliminates fungal growth -this is the basis in which hydroponic reservoirs are designed to. I use this method constantly, and i never get a mush seed as a result. the other cool thing about this method is you can actually leave that little seed in there for a few days after the radicle protrudes, thus allowing you to skip the paper towel all together. not to mention it becomes one hell of a healthy start for her.

I dont know how many dozens of strains from different breeders over the years,Paradise seeds wins hands down for germinating percentage and perfect female plants from fem seed.I'm more than impressed it only took me 10 years to give them a try. When I think of all those 150 dollar strains...only brothers grimm cindy 99 was worth that much scratch

I have never had seeds turn to mush before and ive done several diffrent germinating methods, and with the results being so all over the place i think it is the brand of seed. I know when i do s.a.g.e they are like 99.9% success, nirvanaid 100%.

I just think this brand might be prone to this problem.

thanks for advise sparkjumper i,ve not tried this brand. i like trying dif strains and brands so get a bit pissed when ive spent £££$$$$$ on seeds that give me nothing. what do recommend from Paradise seeds for big yield????

Right now I have Nebula at 40 days looking sparkley as can be I have acid ,opium, jacky white, and sensi star of course. These are all high thc plants with jacky white being a huge yielder a 75% sativa 60 day plant.I can tell you that attitude seedbank doesnt have any of these paradise strains, only seedboutique. When I looked at paradise seeds on attitude I had the attitude I was in a different world lol.Any of the strains I mentioned are very good I know from Overgrow grow reports and from what I'm seeing. The nebula is just farming trichomes and I expect the rest especially sensi star to be the quality star while jacky white will take the yield gold medal.Check them out at the boutique the germ rates are just killer too

I recently tried this method just to experiment with germinating some old seeds (I literally dumped a handful into the bucket) that had been sitting in a ziplock bag for up to a couple of years - and had pretty decent results. The only real issue I had with it is that the seeds bumped around a lot with the bubbles and was afraid the radicles might get damaged, so I removed them as soon as the seed split and the radicle was barely visible protruding out. Going to try it putting the seeds in small rockwool cubes in the water (since they sink and won't bounce around) and see how long the plant will grow and remain viable before dying.

I apologize for hijacking the thread a bit (please pm me if you want to respond that way Buds*by*Brad), but have you tried pushing the limits as to how long they will continue to grow just free-floating in an aerated solution?
