I am growing 5 Laika, 1 OG Kush Feminized, and the little runt is a Northern Light. You can tell the OG Kush by how it sits low. I am using Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil and then in about a week will induce Fox Farm Grow Big every other watering. I am running a 400 watt HPS and also a 150 watt HPS 24/7 for the light cycle. I will probably go to 12/12 sooner than expected and a cloning project is now in store. Just a small little project to help my with my sickness. 2247.jpg

The Northern Light went into auto flowering? and came out male. Will isolate to a different room and collect pollen..... I still have 5 Laika and 1 OG Kush feminized still under 24/7 vegging cycle. Will induce Fox Farm Grow Big 6-4-4 next feeding. Will goto 12/12 sooner than expected. Losing the Grow Cab due to height restrictions and heat issues. Moving the crew to a bigger home in the next few days :) 5 Laika unsexed 1 OG Kush Fem to the left.

sucks about the male..to be honest in my opinion...unless you plan on getting serious with breeding i wouldnt bother collecting pollen from an autoflower...i mean if you have another female auto your willing to completely seed out and dont mind having reg seeds then sure go for it..

your better off looking into making fem seeds or breeding photo plants for a specific pheno. Anyways whichever you decide make sure to collect that pollen in a good airtight container somewhere way outside your grow room...that shit can get everywhere if you allow it to get big enough...

blants all look really a good...a little on the dark side. I would safely say you really dont need to start with fertilizers at this point in time. let them yuse up whats in the soil first, less is more and if they are growing well now theres no sense in risking a issue by ferting especially when they are that dark green.

I don't think i am going to waste time collecting pollen. That's really not my goal as of now. If anything.... once sexed i will continue to veg 1 plant in a separate room and continue to feed and take clippings aka from the Mother plant. Who knows but space is limited. I really can't make a decision until i see how many females i am going to get once switching to 12/12. The OG Kush is another option for cloning since feminized. They have been working in the soil for about 2 weeks without nutes and today i induced a small feeding of Fox Farm Grow Big. Time will tell. I do hope the color improves and the traits start to show. I am not stressing. Like you said... Sometimes less is more. Thanks for peeking in and the advice. Appreciate Brother -Hank

theres always the option to take cuttings from all plants that way once flowering comes to a end on the first set you will be able to choose which one you want to keep as aa mother plant. then you will be able to see the full charecteristics of each plant and will have a better idea of what the end result will be.

Is the dark coloring maybe just an issue of photographic lighting, or are they genuinely "too dark" in person? I am new to this and wanting to learn as much as possible

i was thinking the same thing, i did suggest not feeding but was ignored so assumed he had his reasons.
