A tale of Two Seeds

I'm running low so I put two Barneys Farm Crimea Blue seeds growing and Eveerything is going great. I've got them in Roots soil and using botanicares Pure blend veg formula and Liquid Karma for veg and both plants are fed from the same watering bottle. they are now 16 days in flower (12/12). flower nutes are Pureblend and Fox farm big bloom. also added some Tiger Bloom and will add Cha Ching next week and also some pure bat guano.
Anyways the reason I have posted is to show the variations in plants from seeds. These two plants (pics below) are night and day. One plant is 28 inches and the other one is 37 inches. the short one has wider indica looking leaves and the other a little thinner more sativa looking. the bigger one is still extending up like a sativa while the shorter one has bigger stems and bigger looking buds I am hoping that this is just natural genome differences but I could have been slipped a different strain. If anyone wants to comment on this or share similar stories I would like to read about them.

Ok so it is now 23 days into flower and I think most of the elongation is over and the buds are producing nicely. I am sure that the shorter one will have bigger buds but I think they will give about the same weight. They look good and makes me anxious to try it. :hump:

day 26 and the girls look great. Going to have to raise the light again as the allone has put on a few inches. She is now at 51 inches. the shorter fatter Crimea blue is at 37 inches.

Barney's Farm Crimea Blue on the 4th week flower is showing a lot of trichome development. Hope its smoke is as good as it looks to be. :lol:

no noticeable elongation now just a lot of bud growth.

Things are looking good. Buds are filling outnicely and trichome production is up.

Starting to fill out and can't wait to taste.
Had to buy some medicine so as not to trim too early. wow are street prices spendy!!! :hump:

bottom branches are rripening up first I think because they are so far from the light. Leaves are still green although a little droopy, the top colas still have fresh pistils so maybe a couple weeks before they are ripe. :bigjoint:

the shorter pheno (looks more indica)has about 80% red hairs and trichs are partly cloudy more clear. I flushed this plant because I think one more week. I cut off three lower branches as they were drooping real bad and I need some smoke in a couple days. The tall (sativa looking one) pheno is going to need another week longer than the first. Only about 40% red hairs on this one and clear trichs.

I'm using a 400 watt HPS and I will be choppingthe short one in about 5-6 days and the tall one in two weeks

ok here it is 65 days in and the short one (which I have been picking on) is coming down tomorrow. Mostly just the top bud left. the other one topped out at 53 inches. all the branches are drooping because they are so long and thin. Propped up the main stem to keep it from bending over. the base is no bigger than my little finger. the smoke I have tried from this plant is nice and smooth and a uplifting high. Oh yeah picked a week ago,so not yet mature and I dried it fairly quickly. I will give a better smoke report in about a month.

ok I looked at the trichs and sme of them are amber. the wife wants her room back so down they come. barney's says 8-9 weeks but I would say for the best of it 10 weeks
I've been smoking some I cut last week and it is really good. I will post again in a month with the smoke report.

Yeah I know a lot of wasted light but my grow room is in the garage (unattached and uninsulated) so too wet and cold from Dec to April. I warne dthe wife I needed to grow in there or we would run out lol
