A thought on cloning/are we overthinking it ?

Have you seen dell66666's thread on 12/12 from seed? I figure 12/12 from clone would work too, if only I can get them to root. I just have them sitting on the floor in my flowering area under the canopy of their mothers.

sorry 12/12 from clone has nothing to do with 12/12 from seed, 12/12 from clone is a waste of time unless you do sea of green with 6-12 plants per sq.ft.!

Here is the method I want to perfect.
Air layering. I needed to wrap that
foam in plastic so id stayed moist longer.
Wait for roots then chop if from mom
and bury it.

I agree 100% Keep it simple especially in the beginning. I'm sure adding all the proper nutrients and micronutrients will increase yield, but if you don't know what you're doing, you will probably decrease your yield. In my case, i know nothing, so I'm using foxfarm's grow big, and tiger bloom, along with cal/mag plus, all at 1/3 strength and so far so good.

...I'm sure a lot of methods work but after many failures this works for me....
razor blade, dip in mild chlorinated water (2 drops bleach/gal), cheapo rooting powder, moist vermiculite...no dome, heat mat or whatever and voila'
10 days later; rooted clones ....

other variables that help:
the mother is over 8 weeks but not more than 2 weeks into flower.....
CFL or florescent lighting, temps between 70-85, humidity over 35%

If you live in an area that suffers hugh humidity you won't need a mini-greenhouse. But if you live in an area that is dry and arrid you'll need to use a dome.
