A Tiny Bit of Light at Night Time in Flower?

So I use tents. The vents on the sides have to stay open when its in the dark because I leave my exhaust on for smell. I think a tiny bit of light may get in there when the plants are sleeping because again the bottom vents are open and my night cycle for the flowering plants is in the daytime. My question is if a TINY bit of light enters the tent when they are sleeping will it hermi or anything? I consider plants normally get moon light at night and the amount of light that may get in to this tent is way less than that. We are talking about an amount of light your eyes can't even really see...

Thanks,

Dukester

ime, no, it won't effect poo poo.. i know people around here get all sorts of carried away about grows needing to be completely dark in flower other wise you get hermies.
i grow in a small closet and keep the door open to keep temps lower, and i've never had an issue w/ hermies, and i've grown all sorts of plants in there from regular seeds to fem'ed seeds..
just my experience..

Chilling out helps alot on the first few grows, my third time round i finnally mellowed out and it was so much easier.

Here's one part where i have to disagree racer. The only time hermies popped up in my garden were from light leaks.... and maybe one or two genetics. I say this because i've had a few plants herm and due to the location of the bananas it was always due to a light leak ..... a pinsized hole in my tent with the morning sun shining in, power strip lights..... annnnd there's been extreme cases of me leaving the whole tent open all night due to passing out early. Just saying a little light in someone's garden can make all the difference ..... obviously whatever you're doing racer ....you're doing right.

good on ya ...... as for me. I would have to eliminate any and all sources of light in and outside the garden ..... even if it means blacking out windows.

IMO, dont let any light near your plants when they are meant to be in darkness, it can cause stress and hermie so if i was u i would make sure no light, it wont take u long to seal any leaks. GW

I ran into this and got small seeds in the crop that had it. The exit ducting let a bit of light in. I didn't notice anything while they were growing, but when smoking I found a few small seeds. Nothing terrible, but I think the light caused it. I fixed it and didn't see them in any crop afterwards.
