Man there is a lot of info on here. I had no idea there was so much to growing. Me, I am a total new guy at this and I am thinking about trying to grow for personal use. I want this to be a easy as possible so I am considering buying an aerogarden. These seem like a no brainer. They might not produce high yields but since it is just for me, who cares. I am all about the ease of use.

I think I will try some lowryder for my first time. I am going to get the seeds from this site amsterdammarijuanaseeds.com. Should I be cautious when mail ordering seeds?

Anyway, this looks like a good place to get info and help if needed. Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the site :) Yes, you should be cautious ordering seeds. Dont send them to the address where your grow is. There is always the possibility that your seeds will be confiscated at customs, but that only happens 1% of the time is my guess.

Soil IS by far cheaper and easier to learn for a new grower. However hydro can too be learned with some research and a few needed tools such as ec ppm meter and ph test strips. My advice go for a soil grow your first run. You can buy a bag of soil for a few dollars with nutes already in it. Ive done this before and am doing it now along with 15 hydro plants and the soil ladies are keeping right up with the hydro. i havent feed nutes at all until lastnight and im 4 weeks in flower. Once the plant uses all the nutes up in the soil then you weant to add to counter deficiencies.

Dont want to discourage you just a peice of knowledge to help you make your decision. Good luck 1BMM

I think deep water culture is better because the plant grows fast and you can take care of the plant better, like checking the roots. the setup is pretty simple too, a bit expensive but worth it.

Do you guys think an PO Box would be a good place to have the seeds shipped? I have no other place to ship the seed to.
