the drone strike could also have killed Al Banna's pet cat, does that mean the cat was targeted?

shit you are dumb.

CNN reports that the target was al banna, junior was an incidental casualty. or do you propose the drone pilot knew junior was there, hit the flipper, bumped the table and deliberately triggered multiball play to bag additional points?

sorry kids, see there used to be this thing called pinball... well it was popular as shit.

LINK?

That still doesn't say caught in the exact same explosions regardless...if they are truly insinuating that then it would conflict with what the whitehouse has said. It is easy to make insinuations like you have "caught in the explosion" but technically thats not words that are used, words which are chosen very carefully.

If the whitehouse infact said that he "was caught in the explosion" or even if they said it was "an incidental casuality" sure that would be a step in the right direction...but that is not the official story.

Again

They are sticking with "a militant was killed in a drone strike".....and do not wish to elaborate further.

Not at all, how does this counter anything I said and support anything you said? You made up some ficticous story about him on his way to training camp in a jeep or some shit....This said he was on his way to a BBQ.

There is really no official story of how it went down, nor evidence that he was a terrorist...You just completely fabricated some crap in your previous posts to make yourself feel better I guess?
i caught the early reports dingbat.

heres the gist:

ala awalaki junior rolled out with his mentor a top al quaeda boss in a suv with several other yemeni prospects for recruitment.

al banna was targeted, the suv blew up, and recruits and recruiter all rained down on the street. a job well done.

the CLAIM by juniors weeping supporters is al banna was their youth leader taking them to an innocent BBQ. thats a ridiculous story with no foundation.

"Family members have said that he was on his way to a barbecue. Five Facebook pages have been set up to condemn the killing as a human rights violation"

also facebook is now the hague court on war crimes. awesome, i hope junior gets enough likes to earn a respawn.

learn to read numbnuts..

Do you think its justifiable to kill a teenager out of fear to prevent the extremely unlikely chance that he will kill an American citizen?

If Hollywood has taught me nothing else, it is that this can be done. However it absolutely requires a montage to an 80s power ballad. cn

man you get more retarded every day.

his good buddy ""prominent al Qaeda militant, Ibrahim al-Banna," was blown up. alawlaki junior just got caught in the blast. i dont care that he got caught in the blast, just like i dont care that every person in germany was not a nazi. in war shit gets blown up. if you live next door to a bomb factory, and your country declares war on the US, then you better move.

if you are hanging out with al quaeda guys, they may blow up. and you could get caught in the blast. the smart money puts tweo an two tiogether and STOPS HANGING OUT WITH AL QUAEDA GUYS!

this is only sensible. also sensible, dont go to new jersey steak houses with known mafiosos, you might catch a bullet intended for your dinner companion.

another on the common sense hit parade, if you dont want to get squished by a bulldozer, dont lay down in front of bulldozers.

what part of this is escaping you?
You might want to brush up on history. The bomb, gun and other military related factories in WW2 (one example, there are others though, WW1 as well) were left largely untouched. They were mostly financed by American and British finance, so they were not to be touched. Plus you can't fight a war against an enemy that doesn't have the ability to produce weapons. There was a lot of money to be made and people to be killed (double bonus). This all came out, but no one hung for it. You say treason is a crime, well... Prescott Bush and everyone else (which, by the way, are a lot of powerful and prominent families) who financed the Nazi's (all through the war and then helped many escape after the war as well as helped to get their money out through the Vatican bank) probably should have gone to trial for it. Instead nothing ever happened to them and his Son and Grandson went on to become Presidents.

Moral of the story? Living beside a bomb factory is a smart idea because both sides are usually financed by the financial elite. For example, the Al Qaeda led insurgency in Syria being actively supported by western powers, which, as admitted in leaked documents, was to ferment unrest in the region to justify more war. Not like Al Qaeda hasn't been an American asset since the end of WW2 (Al Qaeda and all their previous iterations, see after WW2 the United States and other countries actively made sure Nazi intelligence assets like the Muslim extremists became American assets).

You really are seriously ignorant here about history and I suggest doing a lot more reading and questioning what you are told and less spouting off about how certain people deserved to die because you trust your government's say so, blindly, because you somehow mistakenly believe you are a part of their "team". Your side is the same side as the innocent people being hit with US bombs daily. Your leaders think as much of you as they do of them.

youre story is full of holes.

german bomb factories were not largely targeted by the US due to their proximity to civilians. the US did targeted daylight bombings at great risk to our fliers in order to reduce the casualties to civilians during most of the war (until Gen. Lemay laid out a new plan, see Dresden for details)

the british performed nighttime bombings of all enemy factories they could reach, including steel smelts, ball bearing factories small arms factories, tank factories etc... most of germany's heavy weapons facilities were outside british range, and thus safe, the few that were in range got FUCKED UP and so did the workers in the factories (civilians mostly, including prisoners of the nazi regime) and the people living nearby.

its called war. the germans preferred even less discriminating attacks, which was why Gen Lemay offered his new plan, to give the germans what they gave. the same holds true for al quaeda.

Yemen is a lawless frontier, a large portion of the country is controlled militarily by militant forces, and alquaeda. you cant send in a team of cops to arrest him, and he was planning, and had carried out attacks against US targets, both military (thats war.) and civilians and THAT is terrorism. the US did not carpet bomb his neighborhood with 500 pound dumb bombs, or lay the entire region to waste with FAE devices (look it up) he was TARGETED with a precision guided missile,, with good cause. the people around him could not have been stupid enough to believe he was just some innocent guy with a beard. nobody is that dumb. anybody who loiters in the area with a target runs the risk of getting hit with the target. i dont give a rats ass whether alawaki junior was on the hit list (he wasnt) or not. he was hanging with terrorists, and thus endangered himself.

his buddy al banni was not a youth minister, or a boy scout leader. he was a terrorist, and people who hang out with him should have chosen their associations more carefully. thats why i say TOO FUCKING BAD

I guess you prefer to be wrong. Dresden, one of the more famous air assaults they completely leveled the city and huge numbers of civilians were slaughtered. The factories on the edges? Not so much. One example of many. Believe what's been spoon fed to you if it helps you sleep at night I guess. Just know you are complicit in your support for some really evil policy.
