A Well Researched 'Newbies' Grow Tent

I Just went down to bunnings hardware and got a twin T8 fluro set up for my seedlings when they hatch, running 2 x 6500K tubes.(600mm long) also i added some reflective 'wings' to my tray this will aid in all the hydraton staying IN there while moving about, I need to have the top of my rockwool cubes a frazz under the top rim level, but i would like to keep a half inch of balls over my cubes as algae growth can occur.
Cardboard and reflective aluminium tape = Sorted ;)

My humidity crib will slot in under there nicely when my seeds sprout.

Hey yeah pull up a couch OG420! i will entertain my fellow subbers along this first hydro grow of mine.
I live in Australia and we have the highest population of hydroponics store's per capiter in the southern hemisphere, i had no drama's in sorting out a tent, plenny of sizes and brands out there! have you fully read it or just looked at pic's, if ya cant tell im addicted with taking photograph's that try and help my viewrs in understanding whats going on, plus they're shiny and colourful. ya more than welcome to throw in wild comm's and questions, idea's and advice and theories and buds......what? sorry yeah as i was saying the set up is complete and the waiting to surface stage has begun.

EDIT: its bout 2am and im farrrked ;) but still focusing..........enough!

haha porn, now shit i might be able to give you a few upskirts (root shots ;( haha) but no porn till atleast May, i do have 2 x Cali Orange/Skunk#1 juz about ready to break the surface anyday now ;)

I just got my colored seeds in today. I got Indica/Sativa Pack C. Here's the roster for my current bench. They're slated for my next grow:

-Hawaiian Snow (Purple)
-Super Silver Haze (Yellow)
-Lemon Skunk (Bling-Blingin' Gold)
-White Rhino (Black)
-Big Bang (Red)

I just started germing my other seeds today for my 12/12 from seeds grow.

- Female Seeds White Widow x Big Bud
- Delicious Seeds Sugar Black Rose
- Delicious Seeds Northern Light Blue
- Kannabia Special from (you guessed it) Kannabia Seeds.

I hope you have more luck with the coloured GHSeeds packs than I did - haven't got one to sprout yet.
So far I have failed to germinate ... The Church, Hawaiian Snow and 2 x White Widow - still got 7 more coloured strains to fail with.

I expect that I got sold a bunch of old seeds as usually I have no issues with germination ... then again I don't usually fuck around with colour coated seeds.

I have a bunch of barneys strains to grow out before I try again with the coloured crap.

Well, I started germing the Lemon Skunk on and White Rhino last night. The LS shell already has a teeny crack in it where I can see the beginning of a tap root, but otherwise no progress. A bit early to tell, but I'll keep you posted.

Yea that's probably just an underhanded way of covering up obviously immature beans anyway (color coating)! Awfully convienant that they want to start covering one of the best attribute of a seed= the nice natural brown and black 'tiger' striped ones especially. But yea, I've always had reservations about getting a whole pack of greenhouse. I got one ghs lemon skunk fem on the way and we shall see what happens w/ her.

yeah im just buying the cheaper seeds if there is such a thing.....i wanst very happy as two of my seed from kulu seeds were cracked, now as i understand it that if the embryo inside comes into contact with oxygen then it can destroy it. i had a look in the plug and it sorta looked a little brownish and slimey......? so have decided to germ another two skunk#1 x Cali orange tonight......if i get all 4 i get all 4 lol

As for the GHS coloured pack i got....yeah that entered my mind , but i think its more of a marketing sell, as they are stated as souvineers, ( i know pretty much all sites say this) but this is actually a pack that sorta looks like you wouldnt grow shit as they look like tiny lollies, but anyway thats my opinion on the coloured packs...im optimistic ok!

Great job,just goes to show that a grow area does not have to cost alot of money,the only thing that i would say is keep the germanated seeds out of the tent till they are showing there first set of true leaves and the seedling or be it clones have good roots showing through the cubes or pucks,,,,,,,,,,tyke

Cheers Tyke! Yeah i have them in complete darkness in constant enviroment, when they sprout i will put them under the t8's then work my way up to the big 600 Watter, The only the problem i think im encountering is that im probally a little impatient. i know this is a bad trait to have when it comes to MJ growing but i have invested a lot of thought and a little bit of money, plus i had to get the nod from the boss ;) ........so i guess what im saying is that i will just have to leave them be and let them do their thing.

Are you subbed for the ride,,,,or just cruzen by?

ive almost been growing a year and still going by that lol
Where are these baby pics tricka? Surely they popped there heads out to greet you by now?
