Aaaah...... Water filtered smoke...

I've been smokin out of a spoon for MONTHS! Today, I saw the makeshift bong thread, and decided to play my hand at it. I would of posted this there, but I have no pics. But that shit tastes so much better then that hot ass carcenaginized smoke. Too bad it's a plastic coda battle and a brass bowl. I can actually taste the metal. Anyways, it's raining outside and I'm high so I'm going for a walk.

My first one I used a gatorade bottle (good because of the thick plastic), a wind chime for the pipe, and a ratchet head for the bowl with a screen in it. Then I got some tubing and made it into a party bong.

Works great! Now I make all kinds of homemade bongs but I use a glass slide.

An awesome one I've been using is a blunt tube and the glass slide. It's so small and portable, but sometimes you get splashbacks into the mouth.

Brass is one of the worst metals you could possibly use as a bowl man, you should use something like aluminum or steel.....try using a socket (like for a socket wrench) for the bowl. it wont taste so much like metal and its not as bad for you

My boyfriend made a bong out of a Life Water bottle, pen tube and a trombone mouth piece. My mom also made a simple gravity bong out of a tea bottle and a glass pitcher. Glass bongs taste a whole lot better and hit way smoother, so I'd rather wait to get one. A local shop is having a raffle for a really nice Roor bong on the fourth, actually.

Brass is actually safer for you then aluminum. My general rule is as long as it's not lead, go ahead. That's a nice Gravity bong. I have one of those, but they don't filter it through water. The only problem is when I rip it too hard the brass gets too hot and mets the plastic bic pen tube. I don't want to inhale that shit. Anyone else have a good household alternative or a way to keep it from melting?

Buy a cheap glass one from your local headshop? Haha just kidding man, I guess maybe take smaller hits so that you don't heat up the cap to the point of melting

I'd do a lightbulb vape before I'd do one of those homemade bongs.

Before I had a real bong I bought a glass bowl for like 2$ and used to just stick it in any bottle I could find. Works much better than the pen tube and socket or w.e. I just put an ash catcher on my bong, fill her up with ice.. ooh man its sooooo smoooooth.
