About a pound?

We've hit as high as 6.6 Terps with that Orange Kush Cake, but.. labs are kinds sketchy around here. They all need to be required to use the same equipment , with the same maintenance schedule and calibrations.

As a new grower, how am I supposed to know what 'healthy plant' practices are and look like? My plants are NOT growing at the pace often advertise on most pot websites. I got them sprouted on May 23rd and if I was to take a gander at how long it'll take to harvest, I might be lucky if it happens this year. No joke. These things are growing slower than molasses! I'll be in veg until at least September I'm thinking, possibly October. I've been in veg since about middle of June, barely any new growth. Plants look healthy, but they're not growing fast. Which is why I asked
Mine are the same age. 3 auto and 1 gifted mystery seed. Not sure what type of weed it is. They look like this

Nice setup. Are you satisfied with how far along they're coming?
Ya but they coulda done better. Next grow I'm going with grow bags and not so much compost. I used 60%. These always register wet. So I till the soul with a rod bent on the end to help it dry. Here's the weirdest thing I did to help them dry.
Laugh I sure did after looking back on it.

You’re supposed to drill into the stalk.

that first pic looks kinda rough. why are they so yellow? did you get that resolved?
Im working on it. Any suggestions. My ph was 7.2 for a long time. It's the autoflower northern lights your referring to. I do blame a lot of that on wet roots. It took me too long to finally dry enough to water properly. I'm thinking Cal Mag maybe? These are my 1st autos. My photoperiod is doing great. The lights of course brighten them also. Of course.

What’s the CalMag supposed to do? It’d be best to start your own thread for help and provide all the details.

looks like they are locked out to me. pH that high could do that. also see tip burn so maybe overfeeding led to lockout as well.

Put calcium and magnesium into the soil. Helps prevent lockout and you can mix it with other nutes.
I would but I see very few threads that don't get attacked by Grumpy Trolls. I don't need to deal with them.
Thanks tho.

You need to set up a space, get the right lighting and ventilation, do a few grows to dial it in. Big harvests happen when you nail every aspect of growing, from seed to harvest. Training plants (ie: LST) has been my secret weapon for decades. Currently in a 2x4x6 tent, Mars Hydro TSL 2000. on average I’m getting around 22oz per harvest, sometimes more depending on the phenos I’m running

Yeah it was a joke. People often suggested drilling into the middle of the stalk before harvest to stress the plant and force it to produce more resin/trichomes. Pure myth.
Not drill, stab through with a knife and insert a stick to keep it open, get your bro science right.
Bob just check some grow logs or frostiest bud threads to compare, theres a range of skill levels for sure.

So true. It keeps me impatient to get to the next grow. Contemplating another tent.

I'm running Szhlux pt4000 it great for simple auto temp. I have trouble keeping it cool right now keeping at 80 is the best I can do. Getting new a/C soon. So the light shuts down 2 to 4 rows until the tent gets to a lower temp. I have overkill on venting and fans AC INFINITY setup.
I'm betting I have been too wet, 7.2 Ph, and hot too long but I'll ride it out.
I have no skills in training also. I'll YouTube it.
Thanks

You sure?
Yes. My first harvest with the TSL2000 was 16.8oz. I veg the largest plants possible for the space, and train them very early on to maximize bud sites. This last harvest was close to 20oz, mainly because I had a crazy 818 headband pheno that grew buds the size of my arm. Everything I’ve ran in the tent since 2020 has been a big yielder, the challenge has been getting quality consistent, which was nearly achieved to perfection on the last run. Still looking for better strains but really happy overall

Adding extra calcium and magnesium in addition to what’s in your tap water and nutrients prevents lockout? Lockout of what?
