I'm using fox farm trio. I'm feeding small amounts twice a day. Ppm going in is 400 I have not checked the ppm of the run off. I will do that. I'm in a ten gallon smart pot. I haven't been emptying the run off although I will be from this point forward.

Yes measure run off. That's very important. That's how you tell how much the plant is feeding. Roots need coco to start to dry to spread the best, rather than sit in soaking wet coir.

So your nute mix ppm is 400. And runoff is 400? You're saying yr plants aren't really feeding much. So you're essentially throwing your expensive nutes down the drain. As previously stated by another.

ThanksThis is what I do bose, feed them. Next watering, add liquid seaweed extract to your water and use that. Feed, seaweed, feed, seaweed. rinse and repeat.
I'm using doff's liquid seaweed extract, doesn't effect the ppm much nor the ec. It's good stuff, any liquid seaweed extract will do!
Oh, and measure runoff to 15% depending on how big your pot is. 3 inch pot - 15% anything above 7 inch 20% 10-12 inch upwards 25%.
