So I was getting ready to do an unconventional mainline on my 2 girls soon. They are finishing their 4th set of leaces now but they still have to grow in and I seriously need to change my light cycle down a little bit so they cab stretch out in the dark period that way I have something to work with when I go to take my cuttings off for clones. But their is now room right now.. The 4 set from the first true leaves to now are all in about a half inch of room.. Anyway my question im hoping I cab have someone help me with is the idea on super cropping. Ok so I read you can pretty much do it anywhere and the end results often sought after are to have the bend to manage the area and the beneficial side effect of it growing back with a sturdier knuckle that helps move nutrients and water & so forth through the plant.. This is often described doing it in many areas but the growers ive often read on here and other sites talk about doing it for training. I was wondering if I can do this at the base of the plant before the nodes start up to get the same effect and get that power moving knuckle to help better the plant from the start.. I don't want it laid over so I was thinking about maybe adding a straw or something to hold it back up vertically.. Will this still work.. Will it still form a stronger knuckle area that also moves nutrients better. I was hoping I could do this now that way it has time to heal and be back into a good state before I go to cutting her down for the mainline..
