Yeah I'd consider all of these. This kind of combination would put the damper on anything.Overfed, early harvest, dried to quickly in suboptimal conditions. Switch to soil and dry amendments or coco and base nutrients. Wait till they’re actually ready to harvest, calyxes swollen up on pistils and trichomes cloudy to amber. Then dry it properly, cool dark room 50-60%rh 60-70f (15-20celsius) hang the whole plant, leave it for 2-3 weeks
you only get out what you put in. If you cut corners and rush things you’ll only ever grow mediocre weed.
no watermelon zkittlez is feminized strain which should be 63 days in flowering i think that my light lacks UV and that cause some problems along with lights being too close maybe i thought 25cm is okay i will try more next time but that stupid hanger on mars hydro is long AF i need to find alternativeDifferent here I only grow BF seeds outdoors and can confirm plenty of sticky and strong smell even with no buds. They're not shit at all. Maybe someone's doing something wrong ? I noticed your growing zkittlez watermelon that's an auto flower strain. I'm currently growing BF Zkittlez Gorilla Auto Day 22 and it reeks
i cannot imagine letting my plants dry for 2-3 weeks they are absolutely dry after max 8-9 days but mostly even quicker like after 5 days it could burn i think it is because my buds are not so resinous as i would want my drying conditions are about 40-60% RH in maximal range mostly closer to middle or 40 and no chance i can drop temperature under 19,5 or so in summer it would be even worseOverfed, early harvest, dried to quickly in suboptimal conditions. you need to get your environment to point where it takes 2-3 weeks to dry. Poorly processed flower is always going to be mediocre. It’ll get ya high but still be mids. Get your stuff dialed in, just takes equipment and electricity. Air conditioning/heating, humidifier, dehumidifier, exhaust. It really just comes down to is it worth the investment for you. You could just pick a monoterpene strain that won’t degrade so much in suboptimal drying conditions (still try to get them close)i cannot imagine letting my plants dry for 2-3 weeks they are absolutely dry after max 8-9 days but mostly even quicker like after 5 days it could burn i think it is because my buds are not so resinous as i would want my drying conditions are about 40-60% RH in maximal range mostly closer to middle or 40 and no chance i can drop temperature under 19,5 or so in summer it would be even worse
A proper cure takes a month and cannot be achieved if the flowers are to dryHere is picture of dried buds i am currently curing them second or third day i know they may be better after while but when it would be good it would be potent even now
i think that my conditions are not so bad to dry so quickly...it must be quality of flowers when not so much on resin they dry much quickeryou need to get your environment to point where it takes 2-3 weeks to dry. i am making it always that way up to now maybe 5 or 6 harvest were good enough to get high from it but nothing special i thought i would get...now plants looked maybe best ever in my grows but first dried plant is absolute shit in potency maybe calms that nervosity when not having weed to smoke but nothing else.Hang the whole plant, leave on the fan leaves. It creates a micro climate and shields the flowers. Doing the whole plant will lengthen the drying time. Slow is the key to fragrant tasty buds.
absolutely imposible in my financial situation to buy so much equipment just for drying...outdoor weed dried god knows how and where would get me high but this is not must be some bigger problem than drying in my opinionyou need to get your environment to point where it takes 2-3 weeks to dry. no mold just camera flash make little colour change buds and even before when i got mold in buds and i dried them they had some potency this is complete shitAlmost looks like some mold in the center of those buds on the OP
Mine looking also really ripe just diferent bud colours i am thinking about lack of UV on my growlight about not enough resin productionSome of us now who’s pic this is. Good ref pic for harvest View attachment 5071656
