Portable a/c does work well. hows your stuff set up? air intakes? worried about smell? etc??? oh, venting to attic seems to work well also

you can do that just make sure you dont stretch the ducting to far you can burn your unit out. also 85 is way to hot even in the winter

its a closet, for intake i have sliding door open and a 6 in fan blowing over the canopy from the outside room. i have a cool tube reflector exhausting into the attic with an inline fan. i need to buy a carbon filter for smell which i will be doing soon as well:peace: any other tips or ideas guys?

Hot air can cause condensation in your attic leading to mold. So you need to watch that. I prefer to vent home grows into the garage. Larger volume of air to buffer the warm air vented from your reflectors.

Edit: If you can get a SPLIT-AC that is much better than the portable AC's. Only downside is the initial installation, you gotta have a "sympathetic" HVAC guy to install for you, or have no plants in the room before they install the blowers.

Once installed, split AC's compressor can be serviced by your regular old HVAC guy on the side of the house rather than wherever you're growing.
