So I’m about to buy an Ac infinity or 2 for my grow rooms to help control the climate abit more and I’m wondering what size I should by either the T6 or T8

I’ll be growing atleast 10 plants in each in 15/20Litre pots
The sizes of my rooms are
2m x 2m x 2m (6.7ft x 6.7ft x 6.7ft)
and
3.5m x3.5m x 1.9m (11.5ft x11.5 ft x 6ft height)

Thanks guys

I would do the T8. I have the T6 in my 5ftx5x8 tent. If my tent were larger and I would have wanted the T8.

Currently in veg so 1 600w HPS and a Spider farm 2000. For flower maybe 3 HPS
I’ve found one place which ships to the UK but they got bad reviews and they are charging me customs fees I didn’t realise companies charge that I thought customs would.
Amazon won’t ship but Ebay USA might.

I had a quick look and amazon said unavailable , ebay had a few options.

If they are charging you import and duties then it means you don't have to worry about it, needs paying either way.

I would make sure its fit for your voltage, normally every hydro shop in uk stocks most things, so I find it strange not a single one of them stock them.

Ive bought stuff only available from US before and when I got it the manual said only run on 120v so I had to buy a voltage convertor on top.

Personally I think they are a gimmick.
You can buy speed controllers with temp probes and humidity probes separate and spend money on a bigger fan that wont need to run 100%

Basically the reason I wanted them is because I thought you could control the temperature and humidity with it.
I’m growing in a basement where it gets really cold so being able to control humidity and temperature would be great. If it’s just monitoring temp and humidity then it’s a waste for me.

The ac infinity fans are really well built fans. I use them in server racks and such all the time. Not only are they loads quieter but they move air really well. The controllers are wonderful and have plenty of options. they just started moving into the grow world but they don’t disappoint.

It’s programmable, not just a monitor. My fan is set to turn on if the temperature exceeds a certain set point. It will also turn on if my humidity exceeds a certain level. Its been a worthwhile upgrade in my opinion.

The T6 has a temp mode and a humidity mode for fan management.

You choose one or the other. Cannot set for both.

Not to be confuaed with alarm settings.
That's what I thought, one or the other.

If RH goes up and fan comes on then the temp will go down regardless of what desired temp is and visa vera .

Not disputing they are well made though @Lordhooha

All of you using them, do they have a minimum idol speed so they don't fully turn off when temp is lower than desired?

No they’re designed if you set them for a certain temp they shut off. I keep mine set for 77 and it comes on and off as needed. Unless I’m flowering then I have it set to just run 24/7

Ah you can’t control both temperature and humidity at the same time?

Is the T8 the same?
Yeah the control modules are all the same regardless of the size unfortunately. Also once it hits whatever condition you have set either temp or humidity the fan just turns on to whatever preset speed you have set. If it's at 5 it'll never go higher than that even if you temp or humidity conditions don't go down. There's no ramp up or curve it just goes directly to whatever speed setting it's set for.

It's still an amazing fan regardless of the controller limitations. Super quiet even on the highest settings, at least compared to my old cheap fan.

I think the main thing I’ll need to do is control the temperature at the moment so I guess I’ll have to just set it to what I need and see how it goes.

I’ve managed to find a T6 which ships to me but might be a little small for what I need.

My unit slowly ramps up from 0 to the max speed set.
Then is slowly ramps down to zero.
Repeats as necessary to maintain temp or humidity setting. One or the other, not both.

I use it for temp control and venting.

An alternative for any fan...wifi too.
